Jesus taught in Matthew 5 that we should pray FOR our enemies not to pray against them.

ReplyDeleteCaroline should be informed that when true Christians pray that God should eliminate their enemies, they are not talking about the physical enemies that they see. The bible says that we wrestle not against flesh and blood but against principalities,rulers of darkness and spiritual wickedness in high places. When u are faced with spiritual battle, then u will understand why Christians pray such prayer.

ReplyDeleteWhen you forgive; Relief, Peace and Serenity will fall on you. A heavy burden is taken off your shoulders. You don't need to avoid eye contacts anymore and you loosen up a bit more but make sure learn from it and move on...

I would have loved to write a very long epistle on the different kind of enemies. I would love to talk about the physical enemies and the spiritual enemies. The physical enenies who just hurt us and we forgive and move on and the spiritual enemies who go to any extra length to hurt us like visiting evil Shrine , native doctors, evil altars, demonic kingdom and what not but not today. I'm too tired already. Had a long day
