President Muhammadu Buhari On Wednesday Arrived his hometown, Daura in Katsina State, Ahead of The Eid el-Kabir celebration.
The Presidential Air force jet touched down at the Umaru Musa Yaradua International Airport at about 4.05 pm on Wednesday. Buhari was received at the airport by the state governor Aminu Masari, Secretary to state government, Mustapha Inuwa alongside other top government officials.
The emir of Katsina, Abdulmumin Kabir Usman, and some of his traditional council members were present as well.
Buhari after pleasantries was airlifted by a helicopter to Daura his home town and country home where he is expected to observe the Sallah holidays.
Security has been beefed up across the state as Policemen and Soldiers were visibly seen along major roads and roundabouts.
