How was your night?Worried by anything?
Sometimes we have so many small things to thank GOD for but we wait for miracles that sound like a lie before we acknowledge his goodness.....
Yesterday I sat and observed a woman whose baby almost drove her crazy..The little boy was pulling down everything in sight and screamed off his lungs if she tried to stop him..It seems he just perfected his walking steps..LOL
She couldnt eat breakfast and was obviously so embarrassed,she was almost in tears and I walked up to cheer her up and told her I went through same but that mine was worse but i survived it.I told her the stress never stops,showed her my boys arguing at the breakfast table and we both burst out laughing.....
I told her ''whilst I thank God I have passed your stage,you thank God that you have not gotten to mine cos my kids can think for themselves now and question every move i make or whatever I say..I have back up my decisions or arguments with theories and schools of thought or I forget it..If i say No,I need a back up speech,if i say Yes,I need to explain why i agreed in case of next time,OMG..''
She laughed so much she had tears and after that point her mood changed for the better and she relaxed tried different ways to curb his little 'crase'..lol.
And when I was leaving later with my boys,they were still arguing about something I said and hers was trying to pull down something on the table.
We both said ''Thank God'' and laughed so hard...

I really don't know what's going on with my and my beau, we have been having this ish since 28 of last month, not like we don't talk we do but not like before and I am just angry with him for something he did that I can't even remember again n I will always cut the call on him but he isn't even trying sef, like ask me what's up or just say sorry n let's move on n be like we use to. ReplyDeleteI'm not too happy this morning. I just found out dt my daughter has a music note where she writes songs composed by her.
I know it isn't bad writing songs but she was mischievous abt it.
I found the note In her room while doing ystrd.
I know she likes singing and dancing alot(she sang to d admiration of everybody during their school's graduation party ystrd n they all cheered her)and her dance skills,top notch👌
She's in church and school choir and drama group
Now where d problem is....
She opened up to me dt she writes these songs when during her supposed reading time(including ds last exam period)
How can that be? I go into her room at intervals n see her READING. I wasn't happy at all. Not because she wrote/writes songs but bcx she put her studies on hold to write them
For now, d book is mine.....will talk to her latter today but I think I have to cut down on some of these extra curricular activities to enable her focus well academically
They are currently having dance classes in church(practice today) she knows her game when it comes to dancing(not hyping) but I think I hv to calm her down a bit......don't really knw bcx my husband so much likes it n my mum too. Am I being old fashioned?

DeleteThere is what is called 'muse'that writers and song writers experience. Even me too, I still experience it. Am writing exam but there is an essay competition am also writing for, my muse for writing comes at night, most nights when I wake up to read, I write the essay instead maybe for 1hr,30mins then start reading.
Her inspiration may be coming at that time of reading for exam and she has to write them because if she doesn't write them at that moment, it goes off and never returns. Even if she remembers them, it won't be as beautiful and strong as before.
Biko, give her back the book. Don't make her have bloc.
And it's a very commendable thing she found out her talent this young. I advise you, cut down her extracurricular activities and enroll her where she can horn the talents. Start early. You never know where it can take her to.
And also help her, encourage her, write her songs with her, also sing with her, let her also learn some musical instruments.
Am saying, start investing in her talent. She is not too young to start winning 5million.
Speaking from experience not head.
And Biko, talent will take her places academics may not take her to. Allow her major her concentration on her talent jhoor.

ReplyDeleteChildren are always known to want EVERYTHING, even when it is harmful to them. She is a baby,don't correct her by shouting or screaming at her. Always take whatever you don't want her play with calmly from her and explain why you don't want her play with it. They hear you know? But pls don't shout at her whenever you are correcting her, it brings aggression out in kids. God bless

ReplyDeleteI woke up to pee by 3am yesterday when I started hearing some unusual movements, it sounded like people were jumping into the compound which was quite strange. I quickly wore tights and trousers and grabbed my Bible. I was home alone and scared to death. Few minutes later they started banging on my neighbour's door shouting, OPEN THIS DOOR! Open this door!!
Stella, my neighbour is an elderly woman that lives alone, and is recently retired. I was expecting my door to be next, so when I heard movements towards my window and saw flashlights, I dived under the bed but the footsteps went back and The banging on her door and window continued. Before you could say Jac- they started shooting!! As in real life, up close shooting yo!! Not even that small gun type o. It was a pump action sometin..
I died and woke up, I am still shivering as i type this, i cried, I peed and shit on my body, I kept repeating "Jesus The Saviour have mercy on me , forgive me my sins and accept me into your kingdom". I was very sure I would die. With this thought in mind I sent a goodbye message to my mum and switched off my phone.
The shots kept blasting, with sound of glasses shattering,The shots reduced for a bit and I heard "if that door opens, kill every fucking soul you sight!" After some time they started hitting my neighbour's door with hammer. That was when It occurred to me that the shots were focused on her flat.
They were shooting from both the entrance and the backyard door.
Luckily for us police siren started wailing from afar and that was how they ran away!! They even came with 2cars.
I froze under that bed till my landlord came to my window with SARS officials to ask if I was alive. Plus my mum has been blowing up my landlord's phone.
People of God! It turned out that my neighbour was the target and all the bullets were directed at her doors and windows, her tv was shattered, the glass mug she used to drink water the night before was shattered and this mummy was on her knees the whole time crying and praying. She said he was awake when they jumped the fence but the moment they started flashing light through her window she knew something was very wrong and she knelt down by her bedside immediately and started praying. She didn't move or change position till they left. Police picked over 15bullet shells from her room alone and non of them hit her.
Isn't God just great?!!
The mummy is a core born again, she was the chief accountant in a big federal parastatal for years and because of her faith, she didn't steal and equally blocked way for others to steal too. She has just been paid her gratuity.
I gave my life to Christ yesterday yo! As I entered her room and saw the damages these bullets did to the things in her room and she wasn't harmed, with tears in my eyes I hugged her and begged her to introduce me to her God. I'm moving back to family house abeg thinking about it now it's not as far from my office as I thought. I cannot come and die alone because am forming working class babe.

Last time I was in my aunts house. The last one was craziness herself. Pouring water, pooing, scattering food everywhere. You can't even beg her to maintain her cool or sleep, it will only trigger Her more. I couldn't bear Abeg so I got a scarf, and tie her down. Every morning she wakes up, I would feed, bath and then tie her hands and legs, switch on cartoon for her. Even in that, she would still be shouting.

That was how my daughter was asked to write composition about their teacher in their exams and my daughter wrote that her teacher is fair in complexion in the face and dark in complexion in her body....LMAO 😁

But my daughter didn't lie,the woman has two complexion oh(I don't know if it's coz of bleaching or natural)

Reminds me of when I was preggy(my first though) , fried eggs with bread became my everyday breakfast. And when frying my eggs for bread I love it very oily not dry.
One morning I had finished the egg in the plate but I wanted more, I started using the oil remnants to eat the bread. Hian...I discovered it's even more delicious to dip the bread in the oil and eat than to use egg. That was how I started frying eggs with soooo much oil then I'll just remove the eggs and use only the oil. Lol
DH almost got crazy, like everyday there will be fried 2- 3 eggs that nobody is eating. He got tired of eating the eggs cos me I was only using the oil. That was how he started locking up vegetable oil and eggs oo , the cravings had no choice than to mellow.
I've been craving for firewood party jollof since last week, I have to find where owambe will be happening today.
