Patience Jonathan;Wife of immediate past President Goodluck Jonathan is seeking the intervention of the House of Representatives for alleged harassment of her family by security agencies.
Mrs. Jonathan’s petition was presented at the Lower Chamber plenary by the lawmaker representing Okrika Constituency of Rivers, Rep. Bright Tamuno.
Tamuno called on the house to wade into the matter in consideration of the sacrifices her husband, former President Goodluck Jonathan, made for the country.
He noted that no former wife of Nigerian President had been harassed like this before, and in view of the sacrifices her husband has made for the country, the house should consider and call the security agencies to order.
Patience, in the petition, alleged that the harassment was being orchestrated by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) and other agencies of the Federal Government.
However, Speaker of the House, Yakubu Dogara, referred the petition to the Committee on Public Petitions for further legislative action.

They should leave this family alone. Please Where is MOHAMMED BUHARI? Can somebody tell me where he is bikonu.
ReplyDeletePresident Buhari is on sick leave, free him from your stupidity. Is it a crime to be sick?. Do you know the name of your local government chairman, the councillor representing your ward in your village, have you ever cared to know why they failed to provide water, grade roads, make the primary health centres functional, rehabilitate primary schools and build new ones, fix the markets. I bet you don't . This is one of the primary reasons why our country is backward. We all focus on Abuja forgetting our state governors who are stealing our common wealth and doing nothing to uplift our states.
DeleteThe agencies should be allowed to do their Jobs
