On this day in 2016, God showed himself mighty in my life. I had just returned from Abeokuta to Lagos safely between 12 & 1pm in the afternoon and had to get to Ajah to pick up a material I needed to work with.
As I alighted from the bus at igboefon and entered the highway to cross to the other side, the next thing I heard was a loud thump! I had fallen flat face down and it was the sound that made me realize I was on the ground. I didn't know how I fell or even when I was falling.
I know I didn't trip and I wasn't even wearing high heels, plus I was the only person crossing at that time. Immediately I hit the ground, I screamed 'ah' and heard a man behind me (on the other side of the road) scream Jesus! Then I looked towards the oncoming vehicles and noticed that it seemed like they were all paused (everyone knows how busy the highway on lekki-epe express road is, vehicles are always on top speed) . I picked myself up quickly and ran to the other side of the road.
As I got to the other side of the road I began to shiver. I realized what God just did for me. He delivered me from the hands of the enemy! He put my enemy to shame and gave me victory over them! He didn't allow my family to shed tears of mourning over my life! He didn't allow my name to trend for negativity! He put a halt to the evil machinations of the enemy over my life!
He blessed me with a testimony! He told the enemy to steer clear because I am his beloved! The apple of his eyes! He wants his name alone to be glorified in my life, so He gave me a miracle that sounds like a lie! There are a lot of people that this sort of thing happened to and are not alive to tell the story, but God made my case different.
I had no bruised body or broken bone, except for a small scratch on my toe. Vehicles that passed by, slowed down to look at me and asked if I was fine. Lol
I have come to return all the praise to him. Please join me in saying a word of praise to this amazing God!

ReplyDeleteBut I have a slight issue. It's only because she's a known bv that she got this maximum support from this blog. We are so guilty of not taking the less or unpopular bvs seriously. This is not the first time we are getting a case of depression here but none has gotten even half the support north Dakota has gotten. And it isn't only in the case of depression.
Let's take another example. We see the TTC testimonies on the blog and if u read the comments praising God, e no dey reach anywhere but when a known bv (default smile) shared hers, we were all 'visibly' filled with joy and congratulations and it was very evident in the number of comments the post got that day. Even I that hardly comment on TTC testimonies commented that day.
What I'm trying to say in essence is, no one should be more important than others on this blog. Same love u show to A should be also shown to B. The love we show one another on this blog is one of the most important things that makes this blog unique.
And those who are mostly anon, pls try and get a blog id, of course not with ur real details but something we can recognize u with. The more u participate in activities of this blog, the more we can rejoice with u wen u have ur good news or sympathize with u when u have issues.

I'm so sick and tired of this country. I went to make enquiries concerning skills training, make-up and gele precisely. I thought it would be good to add it to my little teaching salary especially as I'm free at weekends, I would have even ditched the summer coaching to learn it. The kind of prices I heard made me to burst into tears as I left the last place feeling dejected. I went to three different places, they were all in the same price range. I don't know what else to do with my life. I'm just tired. God I need your strength.

DeleteSkill acquisition isn't cheap dear. For cake making set you will be looking at last last 45-50k..nothing is easy just try, its still better Dan having no skill at all
