Which way forward?
ReplyDeleteStellz, INEC has to obey the court's order. Like I explained in the previous post. The court ordered that they maintain status quo pending the motion yet to be heard. The only reason INEC was to go on with the recall process was because it had not been served with the enrolment order of the Court. INEC was served on Monday, the legal team must have advised INEC to suspend the recall process as ordered by the Court. The suspension is temporary.

After the Court hears and determines the motion on notice filed by Dino Melaye, to stop the recall process completely , if the court rules that the application has merit, it will grant an order of perpetual injunction restraining INEC from instituting the recall process. If, on the other hand, the Court rules that the application is devoid of merit, it will order INEC to proceed with the recall process.
It all depends on the decision of the Court after the motion has been heard and determined. There's nothing amiss yet. The recall process is merely suspended, not terminated. Any jubilation now will be premature and uncalled for, to be honest. So, no, I don't think there's any need for that song. There was never any need for that song in the first place, purely my opinion, but if the song must be sang, perhaps the singing should be suspended as well till the final decision of the court.
Stella dia is need for d song ooo.
