Someone presents a gorgeous baby girl to the world as 'her' child and awon omniknoweth feel they have the right to question how the child came to be.
Well, take free education, once you adopt a child legally, the child is now yours and has the same rights as a biological child should, hence there'll be no need to distinguish by using the adjective 'adopted'.
