ReplyDeleteAs a child, I spent sleepless nights after watching movies like 'Hammer House of Horror' and 'Let's scare Jessica to death' and 'Evil Dead 1 & 2'.
ReplyDeleteNot so sure if I will find them scary now but as an adult... my vote goes to 'The Ring' especially the first part.
I literally jumped back in fear when the evil child crawled out of a well, crawled towards the TV and stuck a hand out of the TV! Did I mention that it was a dude watching her crawl towards the TV inside the movie? #jitters#

Autopsy of Jane doe.
Cabin in the woods.
Drag me to hell and the autopsy of Jane Doe! Now that's what I'm talking about! The witch actually annoyed the hell out of me. Kept waiting for the climax but all I got was anticlimax! That witch pounding what was supposed to be the baby and the Raven poking that woman's boobs were just irritating and I didn't see the relevance in the scheme of things!
DeleteLol drag me to hell is like comedy to me.
DeleteAt night?
Delete#Dead
SAW 1-6 is d baddest movie ever made...

I don't like these recent horror movies.it doesn't give me the same rush like the aforementioned.
I also love thrillers a lot.lemme not even get started on that.
I spit on your grave is so scary
DeleteI spit on your grave na horror film Northie?
DeleteChainsaw Texas massacre, another oldie but baddest.
DeleteThere's nothing horrific about I spit on your grave abi na another one I watch?
DeleteHostel 1-3 my God. Chainsaw massacre too. Scream, Chuck all those ones are funny na. I am a huge fan of horror movie.
ReplyDeleteThis is a testimony... I almost strangled my niece,a pupil cos I was teacher and my son few months after birthing him. This happened after watching one horror movie like that that was mostly blood sucking and incantations.I was really thirsty for blood then and how i overcame it was through prayers and speaking to the devil when the thought came and sometimes would leave my baby to another room just not to kill him. That night I watched that movie...was begging my niece to leave my room but she refused and I had to push her out and shutdown my laptop.God gave me the grace to overcome and be delivered of that evil spirit.
ReplyDeleteP!ease fellow bvs u guys should stop watching those horror movies...they are not of God.
You say wharrrrth?
DeleteAnon 13.32 you are right. Whenever i watch a horror movie centred around exorcisms, i always feel a dark presence and i stop watching till another time. If your spirit is not strong it's better not to watch some horror films. The exorcism of emily rose was a movie that gave me nightmares for weeks and i will not recommend that film to anyone, it's based on a true story.
DeleteHuh???π±

Omgoodness, you must already have evil spirit in you be dat or some kind of mental issues..no be ordinary movie go cause that one abeg
DeleteDead End.
ReplyDeleteMovies don't scare me, I see past the props and I sometimes do not like watching horror or action movies because of the poor storyline except on days when I do not want to engage my brain - no offense intended
ReplyDeleteThe only thing that scared me once many years ago was a book - The witching hour by Anne Rice. I read that book alone with the aid of a lamp whose illumination was very poor. I couldn't get up to move to the next room because everywhere was dark and no one was at home. Jeez!
Lmaoooooooooo
DeleteYea, Scary Novels can send chills up ones spine.
DeleteAnd low budget Horror movies is wack!
Evil dead
ReplyDeleteThe horror movie I managed to watch was One Missed Call '. I stopped watching after about 3 scenes. I've never been a fan of horror movies.

ReplyDeleteExorcism of Emily Rose, Chucky,Conjuring 1&2, Nightmare on Elm Street
ReplyDeleteWilly willy
ReplyDeleteEririmma of Ibc in the 90s
ReplyDeleteStella! How can you be frightened by 'I know what you did last summer'? LMAO! That's Mickey Mouse compared with some hardcore horror movies. At least that was some psycho killer on the loose, what about when it has to do with demon possession, occult and witchcraft? Aren't those more scary? Personally, my favourite remains THE EXORCIST. That's a classic horror movie. Check these out:
ReplyDelete1. Insidious(1 and 2)
2. Evil dead(1 and 2)
3. Babadook.
4. The Conjuring(1, 2 and 3)
5. The Exorcist TV series(S1)

I prefer the novel of pet cemetery than the movie.
DeleteCherry, yeah. The novel is scary.
DeleteNo one does it like Stephen King.
Tv Addict, my fellow movie buff, chop kiss πππ
Seen all them movies you mentioned.
Oh, except The Boy.
DeleteI told you about 'The Boy' yesterday @Andromeda. Not really scary but a nice movie. Try it.
DeleteNight of wonders
ReplyDeleteI see nobody has watched the horror movie titled "The Thing 1982". It has a 2011 remake, which is child's play compared to the 1982 version. I watched it when I was 13years, I'm 46 now and it still remains the scariest horror movie I've ever seen. PLEASE WATCH IF YOU WISH TO REMAIN SHIT-SCARED FOR LIFE, PARTICULARLY IF YOU ENJOY GOING OUT AT NIGHT.
ReplyDeleteThanks

ReplyDeleteYay, my kind of postπ
ReplyDeleteRead all comments and only my girl, Pipi Lee mentioned the most scary and creepy movie - Silent Hill!
Pls don't watch this movie at night.
I'm a sucker for horror movies and I watch them at night. No fun watching stuff like that during the day. Here goes:
1. Silent Hill
2. Saw(all parts)
3. Insidious (all parts) even the music/soundtrack is creepy.
4. Koto Aye
And the rest...
Someone typed above about exorcism movies and their effects...
You're so right. Real incantations, spells and demons are real in them movies.
By yourself, you'll invite demons into your life. It is what it is, but we can't help but like the thrill horror movies give us.
Hehehehehehehe
DeleteInsidious (I wonder why I haven't seen it)
Just out of curiosity tho, do you scream while watching? I do, but I know someone who doesn't move a muscle, like, wow!
Scream ke? That's for babies.
DeleteYou just get these goosebumps and the urge to check the room real quick or every now and then.
You almost jump out of your skin too when a scene you don't expect comes at you.
There is something scarier than the Exorcism of Emily Rose?
Delete#Faints
Lmaoooo
DeleteI scream o, especially when it comes loud and unexpected, i'll just go 'Jesus', lmao. Then I scan the surrounding and grab the person close to me. It's crazy but we can't stop.
