Bisola(Thelagosshopper)
Did you mock those on the island the other day??? Mtcheeew.
ReplyDeleteNa turn by turn. Mainland people don mock Lekki finish, now na their turn. Lol
DeleteLagos is really working and guvnor is sleeping.Hmmm the difference is klear..lsland flood was so clear, you could swim and row even smooch and snap in it but this flood is dirty, i guess stinking. Lawma should step up with the thrash and canals dredged. Stay safe Lagos shopper
DeleteThis is bad mennn!
ReplyDeleteBad indeed...people wait for the govt to pick and deliberately still dump refuse..who is suffering it now..definitely not the govt
DeleteIf its island now people will be laughing smh. I hope the water goes down quick
ReplyDeleteMost of them live in this area. Shame no let them come out now.
DeleteHahahaha. @ Trinity and Swag, I tell you.
DeleteThey're all quiet now.
😂😂😂😂 na you kukuma get time to answer them. Island or mainland, bad drainage pattern exists in Lagos. It's just narrow minded people who think its about location.
DeleteThe truth is Ambode did you take sanitation serious like Fasola, Lagos is now dirty, it wasn't like this during Fasola's tenure
ReplyDelete*Larry was here*
When one man sued Lagos state to court and won to stop the last Saturday of the month sanitation, where were you? Una never hala. You Nigerians are so dirty littering everywhere with take away packs, empty water bottles, nylons et al which block drainage systems, what do you think will happen?
DeleteThe stench that will be oozing everywhere ehn, *pukes*
ReplyDeleteAmbode do something eee
Na wa o.
ReplyDeletepeople will soon get craw craw from all the dirt and faeces flowing in that water.
Lagos state govt should do something cos this is just an eye so.
*eyesore * pls
DeleteVaginal infection nko?
DeleteThis is not good at all
ReplyDeleteAmbode u dey slack abi?! Dirty man wey dey tolerate dirty environment.
ReplyDeletePele, lagos shopper, no one should have to experience this. It's really bad.
ReplyDeleteTwo weeks ago, all sorts of bad jokes came up about people who "had too much money and wasted some of it buying homes built on swamps and reclaimed land".
Is it your money? Or your waste?
Someone said Lekki was Abule egba with foundation without primer. SMH
So what do we call this? Poetic Justice?
I saw a picture of somewhere in s/lere this morning, there was a sea of rubbish floating on the flood water and people were walking inside that disease trap.
God forbid. Leave me with my fish/alligator-catching flood island abeg.
I hope now we can now let the puerile behaviour go and focus on the real issue, rather than exhibiting subconscious jealousy over nothing.
Lagos needs proper avenues for flood management, Island or mainland living is not the enemy.
Lwkmd!!! Brutal but true!
Delete🤣🤣🤣🤣 as in ehn!
DeleteYou wouldn't find any mainlander that made silly comments the last time on this post, shame no gree them. Lol
You people are still ranting about this island mainland ish. As some few sensible people said during the island flooding...the so called mockery/bants are to highlight the plight of the average Nigerians. The so called rich islanders are said to be experiencing the same issues the supposed poor mainlanders do. Therefore, the ignorants from both ends should stop mocking each other and see that they are all facing same challenges. That should be the only focus. Not about calling out anyone. Two wrongs don't make a right. You people are facing two issues. The state of your environments and the state of your minds. If some islanders are not constantly mocking and deriding mainlanders, some mainlanders won't look for every opportunity to mock you. The reason why they mock you is because with all the bragging and condescending attitude some islanders give mainlanders, it will be expected that the island will be beyond the sort of challenges the mainlanders face. And since the flood highlighted the irony, some felt the need to point it out. And some took this too far and didn't express their feelings in the right time or right way. There is a time for everything. And when they made those memes it wasn't the most sensitive time. They could have used their voice to encourage islanders to see the irony of their status in a decent manner and use it to lobby the govt in order to get a long term resolution for both island and mainland. Two wrongs don't make a right. Both ends need to stop this nonsense. Everyone is human regardless of their bank account or where they live. We are all just human beings with some same needs and some different needs but we are all born, we live and die.
DeleteNa so we see am o this morning. I live in surulere and the flood woke us up to breakfast in water. The canal has not been cleared in over a year now and true to what the Lagos shopper said, during fashola's time they clear the canal every month, but Ambode is not even working on surulere. Since 6am till now 1:33pm, we are still bailing water. The cars in my street are covered up. The water is gushing out from all the four corners of all the rooms in my apartment, kitchen, parlour, passage and bathroom. It is a sorry sight to behold.
ReplyDeleteSo sorry!
DeleteEven surulere? I'm shocked.
DeleteCome to festac.
Same in my area. Luckily for us, it didn't enter our apartment. Most of my neighbours weren't so lucky. Some had to carry their mattresses out, but no where to even drop cos it's still raining. The one worse pass the seven days rain oo.
DeleteWhoever advised Ambode to stop the monthly sanitation in Lagos does not have the interest of the state at heart..
Chummy, nobody told him to stop. Someone took Lagos state to court and won. It had to be cancelled
DeleteDis is canal flow... now I wanna put cos I can just imagine d horrible odour . Meanwhile we on d island r just here enjoying d rain n d imprisonment till 4pm. D rain has caused dstv signal to disappear. Someone is just bored n munching everything in d kitchen.
ReplyDeleteOMG. Na wa. It is well. Just hang on there.
ReplyDeleteThe rain was needed to flush out sacrifices made
Ambode is not taking sanitation seriously at all, Magodo Phase 1 the garbage truck used to come every Monday's now whenever they please sometimes once in two weeks, the day they finally decide to show up the entire area will be smelling for days
ReplyDeletetheyve blocked all the drainage with filth and trash, ofcourse theyd suffer it wen it rains
ReplyDelete#S - ee. M - iracles. I - n. L - ife. E - veryday*
ReplyDeleteWho mess up the drainage? Mk una suffer am
ReplyDeleteI think we should return to the monthly environmental sanitation. All the canal at somolu are blocked, houses are flooded
ReplyDeleteTell the people to stop throwing trash away just anywhere. You caused, now face the consequences.
ReplyDeleteBefore they stop throwing trash, what is the way forward?
ReplyDeleteAmbode should employ those guys to do their jobs effectively. Before he forgets so soon, Ambode, this is your first term, except you don't wanna return for second term, and you except residence to vote for APC in this just concluded pools?
Nigerians hardly forgives.
