      I believe both sexes cheat but the circumstances surrounding the "cheating" has to be taken into cognisance! Women cheat most times for emotional reasons, for men, it's physical.
      That said,i believe men cheat more than women...it's almost as though they're expected to... hmmm...this is tricky though

      Women are the best detectives and will find signs of a cheating husband so easily. If he wants to kill you, he will load guns etc.
      But if a woman cheats on you, you will never find out, her tracks will be well covered. If she wants to kill you, you will eat your best soup. If she gets pregnant in the process of cheating on you, two options: 1. She "miscarries" or 2. You will father a bastard and be calling him/her my son/daughter.

      Hmmmmmmm interesting question takes me down memory lane.

      I met this lady, tall, chic, independent and highly intelligent. I am sapiosexual, so I have a thing for intelligent women. We hit it off brilliantly. Long phone conversations, midnight calls, endless chats. There was always something to discuss or laugh about. One crazy Friday night, emotions were high just chatting via social media and she entered her car and drove all the way from Lekki (where she resides) to my crib at Ikeja. We went the whole nine yards that night, the day and night after, and the day after. Simply mind-blowing. As we got comfortable with each other, we tried all the tricks in the black book; bondage, dominance, mock-rape, hand-cuffs, blindfold etc.

      She marched my reasoning power, never allowed me to miss church service, great cook and badass fxxcker. She made a decent man out of me (I was a Solomon). 7 months down the line I proposed. Made it a private candle light dinner for two, she cried and cried and said NO. Why? She had a fiance in US, they are far gone and would be getting in 5months time. I have only read about depression in foreign magazines or watched it as a documentary in CI series on dstv. But after that night nothing else made sense, life became a boring movie, X-rayed in black & white. I locked myself in for 48hours before the numbness went away. Well, I still didn't let go.

      Somehow she convinced that we had a beautiful thing going and she is not off the market yet and alot can happen in five months. She gave me hope and I needed it badly. The sex became more intense, and creative. Every where was a venue, car, company lobby, stairways of a friend's house, guest houses and of course my cribs. She comes over most of the time.

      One bright clear day in autumn, she sent me an invite to her company's gala night. Awards will also be presented that night and she was one of the recipients. She is a media guru in one of the Telecoms company. I was elated to share her memorable moment with her but I was writing my EMBA exams and wasn't sure I come make it. I told her I won't be able to make it but I will make it up to her the next day in a grand style when I get back to Lagos. She understood. My exams were out of Lagos. D-Day came, I ruminated all the ways to just surprise her, lo, I finished my exam in time to catch the last flight back to Lagos got my dinner suit and headed to the venue. I was in the audience just in time. An hour later they started the award presentations. She can on stage, looking regal, exotic and exquisite. Voice was calm yet instructive and full of self-realization. She gave her acceptance speech and then came the bomb; she is dedicating the award to her daughter and husband who have been a pillar of support. What?

      Long story short, I couldn't die again. I had already died when she first told me she had a fiance. Turns out her fiance in reality is her husband. They have been married for 8 years but live apart. Hubby comes home every December and stays for 6weeks every year then heads back to his US base. Her daughter lives with her and a maid. Turns out the few times she invited me over were usually during midterm and she had sent the maid and daughter to granny (her mum).

      Then it occurred to me why she never allowed me make love to her house. Only allowed me to stay in the parlour and no where else. It's her matrimonial home.

      I had to put an end to it all after the gala night. We remain friends and I down graded the relationship to platonic and went back to my Solomon life. The 5 months down the line she was supposed to get married the husband came back to Nigeria. She invited me to meet him. She introduced me has a media consultant (I have nothing to do with media). Very pleasant and likeable guy and equally cerebral. We became instant friends. He was full of praises of his wife (who won't be ?).

      I and the lady still communicate once in a while.

    i sincerely think women, Naija women are better cheats than the men. Men are generally non-challant about covering their tracts, but women are bosses in that. Cheated on bae before but he can never find out cause i went out of town even, that's how much i didn't want him to smell it. But i caught him because the babe he cheated with contacted me even to snitch on him. We are now born again and married though and would never go down that lane ever again. Just like if she decides to kill you, so easy. If she decides to cheat with a fellow woman, only God can detect that one.
