MINNA BLOG VISITORS HANG OUT

I am a regular visitor to the blog but I drop comments once in a while with my real name and I just had this idea that has been on mind lately so I decided to mail you....here it goes, I think it would be a good idea if the blog visitors in minna can also get together and hangout .

IYA IBEJI SERIES

TAEKWANDO OR BALLET

I took my kids to a  taekwondo class not really for self defense but make them still get where to dey go on Saturdays.  This new culture of kids being at home all time doesn't go well with me. 

Got to the class and I begin dey notice the drillings,  even the physical fitness they do I wasn't comfortable with it. So I checked the next class which is for ballet and contemporary dance.  I jejely took them there  to register. Though my son was complaining that there were no boys in the class but thankfully another boy joined a week later. 

It got me wondering how our parents allowed us to go through serious drilling in school and they were not moved. 
For example when we were in the boarding school (me and my brothers went to different schools) my brothers would come home with horrible stories of how they were punished, starved, beaten, how they went to stream and nearly drown etc.  Next term popsie will still take them back to the same school.  
How did they do it? How our parents liver take strong like that?

If you think I'm soft then meet my husband that one no get mind at all when it comes to the children. My husband that will run away whenever my kids want to take injections.   
I wish I can be strong hearted like parents of those days. Any tips?

Why is it that when people enjoy something they do it again and again?lol..I am referring to myself.
I loved the last boxing ring because it solved a lot of blog problems and brought some people 'closer' no?
