Nollywood Actor Nkem Owoh Speaks On Biafra

Nollywood actor, Nkem Owoh recently talked about Nigeria and Biafra. He spoke passionately in Igbo.

In his words;

“If Nigeria wants to reorganize itself and live in justice and equity, why not give it a try, but if our people have checked everything, right from the end of the war, to the 3 Rs which I did not see any till this now, and then we say staying on our own is best for the long term, we all have to come together and support it”.

“Nnamdi Kanu and his group has been peaceful so far, but it pains me so much when I read and watch videos of how police and soldiers attack our young ones, it broke my heart”.

“To all our people in high political places, whether APC or PDP or any party you are in, you see the yearnings and agitations of our people and you shout “No No No”, because you want to better your own lot, your family and grand children, be wise, there is nowhere food is cooked and kept ready for you, if you want to use your people and do politics, let me say this to you, what is coming, you will feel like you are immune to it, but you will be the first one to be cut out and reduced to nothing”.

    2. Is only an insane Or blind igbo man Will say or belive that we are been treated equal in Nigeria, west has functional international airport, consulate to all country, seaport, the same with NORTH via their sham of relocating the federal capital to Abuja just to develop north, we have nothing in the south to show that we are part of the country yet we produce the resources that sustain the country, is that not slavery? Don't tell me about Niger delta ish cos Imo, Abia are member of Ndsc as oil producing state, even where I stay in Lagos what I pay in lawma, electricity bill is different from What indigines predominantly areas pay all igbo area in Lagos no road, so we are leaving here as forginers already, that's why fashola deport Igbos about last 3yrs ago to East, so I wonder why you see ur self as a free born while you are been treated like a visitor,

  10. uncle come and say is openly na? why are beating around the bush? you dey fear ni?
i dont see any reason why i cant openly say whats in my mind.
I SUPPORT BIAFRA MBOK AND THATS IS IT.
enough of the hausa goats ruling us. i dont understand why am forced to lived with someone who will gladly dig his dagger straight deep into my heart at any given opportunity. THEY HATE US AND THEY DONT WANT US TO GO WHY?
i can never forget the story my mum told me that happened in the 1991 crisis in Bauchi. our house was burnt to the ground. i was a few months old and all she could carried was my sis and i. she ran to the barrack with only the wrapper on her waist. my dad was in kano at that time. it was the grace of God that saved us.
i just keep wondering why i should continue living with such barbaric human beings. the average hausa man will cut off your neck if una jam for Lungu.

the 2007 crisis that happened in yelwa Nko? that one sef na different thing. i saw a pregnant woman butchered and the innocent baby ripped outta her belly.I CAN NEVER FORGET THAT. they hate us with passion, i lived in the North almost all my life so i know what am saying.

i feel really sad right now. issssss let me come and go.

    6. Pastors daughter, pls can I give a kiss for this comment of yours? When I tell people that core hausas are wicked and barbaric they say it's cos I hate them. I love live in Abj, and I see their hatred 1at hand. I went to Garki market early this year, and went to patronize an Asaba woman after pricing from a malam. He's dry fish was more expensive by 800naira, so should I have bought from him cos I priced 1st in his shop? Next thing this uncircumcised hausa man said he'll beat me up and use daggar on me becos I wasted his time, and called me an igbo prostitute. He was shocked by what happened to him in a space of 2hrs. That's how wicked and evil this people are. If not that my husband is a public servant and my parents are here, God knows i won't live in the North. I begged and begged my husband to accept his transfer to enugu but he refused. We aren't one in this country, it's high time we stop deceiving ourselves.

  13. Some out of luck Ibos have deemed it fit to speak on behalf of all Ibos , regarding having their own country called Biafra.
Let me use this opportunity as an Ibo woman, to say that, that is a dream that will not come to pass in the interest of our children. We as women need to shush these evil Ibo men and women up, and take over reigns to put a stop to this madness!
Who is Nnamdi Kanu? Where did he materialize from? Who are his parents? What makes him think he is the messiah of the Ibo race? We don't need a messiah, we Ibos need to simply love ourselves first, and integrate with our fellow countrymen.
An Ibo man cannot in all honesty help or assist his fellow Ibo man, how then can we run a country? A Yorba man or, Hausa man will first give you an audience if you need any sort of assistance before an Ibo man would.Yes, I said it, and I speak from experience. We can't help ourselves to grow and suceed, and we want to run ourselves in our country?
I agree, that we Ibos might have been relegated in terms of being included in the running of our beloved country Nigeria, but then, we caused it ourselves due to greed, and always compromising for our selfish interest.
The South East created the APGA party, what happened to it? We couldn't even hold onto a party, and we want to run our own country. Even in the purported struggle for Biafra, there are factions already, as Uwazulike's group have disassociated themselves from Kanu's group. This must be some kind of joke for our children to find some sort of comic relief when reading about 'The agitation of Biafra by Ibo comedians'.
No sane Ibo man would join in this wasteful agitation. Only failed Ibos in areas of their life would listen to a man whose family lives abroad, and has come to cause chaos, so that many lives would be wasted, whilst his family would live to right essays on a struggle that was dead on arrival.
Ibo politicians are also behind this madness,as a way to gain sympathy for their personal aim at governing Nigeria as President or Vice president, as some sort of appeasement, hence the threat of Biafra. These politicians hide behind Kanu, and nudge him to keep on fighting, knowing it is a dead dream, but acheving their aim of being appeased with the portfolio of Vice president. A particular former Ibo governor comes to mind. Cunning from time immemorial.
We Ibo women have the power to put a stop to this madness! My maternal family all fought during the Biafra war, as soldiers and red Cross nurses. They all survived, by God's grace. A family of 11 children, and not one died. Unfortunately, this is not the story of most Ibos. I have my own family now, I'm a mother, and I'll be damned if some miscreants will put my family through what my parents and grandparents went through!
My question to Ibo is, how could a person leading a struggle, have accepted bail, with conditions attached, when he could have insisted to be held until the struggle is achieved. Even the so called leader cannot make sacrifices. He'll just bail out of the country when it becomes too hot for him. There can only be one Mandela, others are wannabes.
Lets not forget that Ojukwu was pardoned by the Nigerian government, and all his wealth including real estate, was returned to him, whilst most Ibos lost all they had before the war, especially the loss of their family members.Who did Ojukwu lose? Ibos wake up from your slumber and hold onto a party first before agitating for a country! Rubbish!!!
I'm a proud Ibo Nigerian Woman! Ekene kwa'm unu!

    5. God bless you ma!!!!! You're clearly a smart person. Leave the tribalistic bigots to their dreams that will only remain so - dreams!
The right to self determination is enshrined in the universal declaration of human rights with conditions attached in specific treaties. If you want Biafra, follow the right procedure and stop preaching war and violence.
We the ibos who are smart enough to realize it's a failed attempt already choose to remain Nigerians.
Just so you know, once you seceed and fail at governance due to intra-tribal squabbles, you cannot re-merge Biafra and Nigeria back together.
In the meantime, what are the attempts made to promote unity among the Ibo people?
I ask because they are wicked to themselves. The Imo/Anambra issue is example enough.
      Ndi Biafra Na iberibe ha!
