True to the promise she made upon clinching these titles to constantly make a positive difference and leave smiles on the faces of many, Ebele has no intention of reneging on those words even as her reign comes to a successful close next month.
It is on the basis of this, that her NGO, the WABIO Foundation shall be officially launched at the Civic Centre, Victoria Island, Lagos later this month, under the distinguished chairmanship of Sen. Princess Florence Ita-Giwa.
The WABIO Foundation is a Non-Governmental Organization registered with the Corporate Affairs Commission, through which the Founder, Ebele Enemchukwu has set out to remind women, as well as the girl child that they can be all (and more) they want to be irrespective of marital or birth status. This way, she constantly contributes at creating an improved society made up of more confident and independent women in our society.
The unveiling shall emphasize on Breast Cancer Awareness among the womenfolk especially the underprivileged, thereby expanding on her 2016 efforts where breast self examination kits were distributed to the women of Ikota Village after a lecture.
Keynote Speaker, Dr. Eke Grace Ngozi, will deliver a paper on “Understanding Breast Cancer” at the event.
