Chukwudidumeme Onuamadike, a 36-year-old native of Anambra State, was nabbed inside Magodo Phase II around noon Saturday, marking an end to a near decade-long manhunt by law enforcement authorities.
The police first caught wind of Mr. Onuamadike’s activities when he allegedly began terrorising resident of several Lagos neighbourhoods, especially Festac Town and its environs.

It was in Festac that Mr. Onuamadike allegedly masterminded the abduction of Vincent Obianudo, the billionaire owner of Young Shall Grow Motors, in 2013.
Mr. Onuamadike, a.k.a.: Evans, has presence in the South-South corridor, where he allegedly established many kidnap formations that operated in major settlements along the East-West Road, including the Port-Harcourt and Warri, both with a high number of oil workers.
He is said to keep his victims for up to six to seven months in captivity until when their families pay amounts ranging from N300 to 400 million as ransom in several installments.

Them don arrest more that 10 pple b4 they finally caught him. This guy strangled his wife to death in the hous he built for her @ igando that same yesterday when he suspected she now knows what he does and he felt the leakage came from her. This ones I know, dollar rate was 180 or so,when comet star was abducted, after like 5months when the family paid 180m the filler went to 220m, they were told to pay another 40m and make it fast that should dollar increase more b4 they complete the payment, they will add it up. His price in non negotiable and he can get patience with u for Africa, he can take almost 1 month to make his first call and make his demands, off course he will tell the family to disengage police.after the first call, the family will celebrate as if he is back, if eventually their victim fell ill, they will bring a male nurse to take his blood for test and give him adequate treatment.
