Keto For Breakfast

We need to loose a few right?..I am just wondering...If we were to start Keto-ing today (No cheating oh) what would the everyday meal look like?

Can you guys share your Keto diet for one week?
What of those who cannot do without eating beef?
Is goat meat Keto?
I may be asking stupid questions to you but I make sense to myself...
Today for Breakfast....I am having my usual coffee,eggs,bread and all,I will begin Keto after you guys share your recipe.

    3. Had bullet proof tea for breakfast. Fasting till evening were i will have chicken pepper soup. Morrow no food. Lunch will be vegetable soup with beef and dried fish. Dinner would be avocado Ice cream. Monday breakfast will be 2fried eggs with almond pancakes. No lunch dinner cucumber and mayo with fried fish. Tuesday bullet proof coffee. Later cucumber garri and dinner peppered snail. I will just recycle the already mentioned for the rest of the week. All meals have been prepared already in the fridge just to heat up when it's time.

  2. I'm having EBA and okro soup this morning.Ndi keto,life without Eba is that one life?Don't you guys get dizzy since keto is a diet devoid of carbohydrates?correct me please,if I'm wrong.I'm here to learn.

    2. Hmm u havent met cabbage or cauliflower swallow! Your life will never remain the same.boil and Blend ur cabbage in a blender sieve d water away,pour the other part into a pot and stir. Add physlium husk powder to firm it up. Put down to cool off. Yummy yummy with any soup of ur choice. 😋😋😋😋

  3. In ketogenic diet you can eat all meat that is grass fed. For a keto breakfast you can go for sausages,broccoli and boiled or fried eggs with compliant oil

    1. Meat is very much allowed in keto.So are chicken and fish.You're allowed healthy fats.
      I'm having sausages and fried eggs in pork fat oil for breakfast and a cup of green tea to wash it down.
      Been cheating sha,ketoing all the way ain't easy abeg.

    6. Yes coconut oil, extra virgin olive oil then fat gotten from any beef pork or chicken. Even avocado oil. But to cut cost and help your pocket you can use your animal fat.

    3. Yea malt and milk worked for me. I still want to add more but the whole malt and milk thing made me broke. I drank malt and milk daily. Ate pounded yam daily. Ate rice and yam too. Ate a lot of banana. Adding and losing weight is quite expensive.

    2. Get a cup,fill it with water,get lemon and cucumber,slice your lemon into 2,squeeze half of the lemon into your water and slice your cucumber into the water,drink the mixture first thing in the morning.its very good for weight loss.

      Without cucumber though, just my green tea then squeeze one lemon inside when warm. Cant even tell if that really does anything for weightloss sef. Just used to it.

  7. I want to go on the keto diet too, but thing is, I have lost my appetite. The only thing I seem to keep down these days is salt crackers and ribena.
    That's no food I know, and I am mighty scared of having an ulcer..so here is me hoping I regain my appetite soon so I can start the keto diet.

    There is a huge diff between looking trim and looking emaciated.

  8. All kinds of meat and fish are keto compliant. Including butter, cheese, avocado, all kinds of oil and so on. Basically keto is about fats and protein but almost zero carbs.

    1. Very wrong. Not all kinds of oil. Vegetable oil and groundnut oil ain't complaint.

      Compliant oil includes n not limited to

      Avocado oil
      Coconut oil
      Palm oil
      Olive Extra virgin oil etc

      Jago mayonnaise is compliant not all butter are compliant

  9. I have been struggling with my weight for 2yrs now but honestly I cannot afford keto. Keto is way too expensive for me biko.

    2. It's very cheap when you remove your eyes from the exotic ingredients and focus on local foods. Okra, Egusi, Vegetable and Pepper soups are keto compliant. And you don't have to eat swallow. I have lived on the life style for 3 months and I have not died. I have dropped 17kg since then.

  12. All kind of meat are compliant... I think. I have one fat friend in my lodge, she cooks with either beef tallow or coconut oil. There's this one she calls cabbage moi moi. The meals have tasted so far from her are quite tasty. She's also reduced significantly, I am sure she's lost more than 10kg sef.

I survived keto for just 4days biko i cannot come nd die nd cant survive for d rest of my life on keto i feel d best way to have a weight loss dat last a life time is by not omotting any food from ur diet eat kn moderation but more of vegies.j cant cut out carbs completely from my meals d one thing dat kills me with keto say na no apple abeg i can't shout

  18. I think from now on I will be sharing some tips how some of the bvs here will be making extra money buy selling this or using for themselves.
    HOW TO PREPARE ZOBO DRINK
    Get zobo leaves.Wash the leaves in a bowl of water. Boil in a large pot for about 30 minutes. Leave it to cool before adding the vanilla flavour.you can peel pineapple back, boil and use the water to taste.Then add the boil pineapple water to the zobo water. Put in a container and serve chilled.

  20. Keto is awesome!it's a bit hard in the beginning (what isn't?). But with time, the hunger pangs vanish. And keto is not expensive if you make use of local food items. It becomes expensive when one tries to do oyibo keto. Lol

  21. I am on Ketogenic diet. I have lost 10kg in 2mths, my blood pressure which was a big issue is down, my cholesterol level now normal. My doctor is amazed. You don't have to be rich to be on this diet. It is basically a low carb, high fat diet. LCHF . All meat/poultry are complaint. Salt free butter (not Margarine) are all compliant. The food may sound funny but believe me they taste great. After trying to lose weight for years, i am amazed at the speed of my weight loss since i started this WOE. Keto is bae.

In my opinion the best way to lose weight or maintain it is to have an easy exercise routine that you can live with for a long period of time...yoga does wonders for the body and overtime it improves your digestion and the amount of food you eat too...I used to eat as late as 12am in the morning but slowly I curbed it and now by 5 I've had my last meal for the day, I also eat just one average wrap of fufu compared to the two huge wraps i used to swallow like a whale...

  28. I saw This receipe on Youtube..Fish Akara..It is good for ''ketoites'' and nice for your saturday breakfast

    Ingredients: Ground Bean Powder or Bean Paste, 1 Fresh fish, Olive Oil or Canola Oil, 2 freshEggs, Pepper, Onions.

    Procedure: Boil your fresh fish and season it with onion, pepper,and other seasoning . Boil till the juices are dry..Then gently debone your fish..Get your blender or food processor and blend your flaked fish with 2 fresh eggs till its smooth and consistent.

    Then pour your blended fish into the bean paste and add other seasoning to it to taste.

    Heat Olive oil in a frying pan, remember you require deep frying.Scoop your desired quantity of your mixed bean paste and fry till its golden brown.

    Serve with Custard, Akamu, Eko Or Garri..Try it today and testify..

  29. My Keto diet looks like this
    1) 2eggs fried in grass fed butter(president) and a cup of bullet proof coffee/tea and unsweetened cocoa and tea.
    2) Grilled turkey, chicken, goat meat
    3) Pepper soup of all kinds
    4)Banga stew with steamed cabbage,cauliflower,or zero rice or noodles.
    4)Blended avocado, with Stevia to taste and chocolate. Serve chilled
    5)Baked Almond bread. You can bake that your self. Use Stevia for sweetener.
    6) salad and dressings can be olives, almond oil, and mayonnaise.
    7) If you love your milk get almond milk or coconut milk
    8) If you miss eba or swallow you can use egg plant, cauliflower, cabbage all blended squeeze to drain out 80 percent of the water and add psyllium husks

  30. I lost 20kg in 3 months without exercise. I just go about my normal work and talk a walk. I only added exercise later to tighten up loose skin.
    Lest I forget all green vegetables are Keto compliant, If hungry, take 10-15 seeds of groundnut or a few seeds of almonds or macadamia nuts. The first two weeks might be tough, but I promise you, if you scale through, you have won the diet.
    Your body becomes used to it.
    Why I love this diet is that it curbs appetite and you can feel deprived.

    1. If hungry you can either snack on cucumber or an egg. Groundnut can stall weight loss, and should be eaten in moderation. It's even wise for beginners to avoid it.

    Lard, ghee, tallow, coconut oil, palm oil,almond oil, avocado oil, unsweetened Greek yogurt, heavy whipping cream, strawberry and black berries are all allowed. Most fruits are not compliant

  37. Keto diet is not sustainable. Any way of eating you cant do for the rest of your life is not worth the stress. How can one eat cabbage as garri and rice. Just watch your portion, exercise atleast 15minutes everyday. Have little dinner by 7pm. And you lose weight naturally.

  38. Like i have said severally before, strictly keto diet isnt for someone like me because i cant see myself eating just some limited food for the rest of my life.

    I eat most food and portion control is the key. Instead of the regular rice, i take brown rice, zero noodles with plenty veggies, wheat bread,i eat beans, potatoes, i take all fruits, dark chocolate etc.

    25 pounds gone already and in months to come I will certainly hit my weight goals.

    Egg muffin and Almond milk for breakfast.😀😀😀

    So Happy with my recent test results. High cholesterol drastically down and blood sugar level so perfect.

  40. I had a very late breakfast. I had a cup of tea without sugar or milk, 2eggs fried in coconut oil and few slices of avocado. And am very full. Today is my day 12. For dinner I will be having grilled fish and mayo dip. Maybe with few veggies. Keto is bad.

  41. Keto works no doubt, but once u stop ur weight doubles up.. it's not sustainable, a foodie like me can't survive a month of keto.hardly ever full, some of those meal makes me puke sef! But that thing worked out just that I love food. I can't keto further!
