We celebrate kechi because her parents are wealthy, they could afford the surgeries n she's living abroad now and successful
Who is the second victim? Maybe going through depression, who knows?
I think the second survivor is late Pst Bimbo's PA. Kechi is schooling abroad courtesy of a Go Fund Me account that was created for people to donate towards.

DeleteHer parents are not that rich. There was a time she opened a go fund account( I think) and did a video literally pleading for funds for her medicals and school fees because there's a deadline and she didn't want to miss it.

DeleteKechi's family is comfortable not all that wealthy. Her dad is a business man and her mom worked with shell which sponsored her education partly then and after the plane crash Shell was also sponsoring her medical bills in South Africa and USA. Make Una no dey talk anyhow
Delete@ideato you know... I discussed the exact same thing with my mum the other day. I said her parents were financially buoyant that's why kechi could survive happily. If she was from a not-so-comfy background the story would definitely be different. But i thank God for her.
DeleteHowever, the okwuchis are not so wealthy. Yes, some small old Aba money dey there but I won't call it wealth, cos if it was you know nau.... However, having exposed/educated parents increased her options because they are aware of opportunities available to make the child live a happy life. Some times ignorance is just the killer.
I believe kechi will do well. She has all the support she needs and enormous amounts of love. She's come really far.

Stella I googled her name and saw her 'before and after plane crash' pics. I'm weeping here. The fire from the plane crash consumed over 65% of her flesh, she had third degree burns and had done up to 100 surgeries. Dear Lord! Forgive me for being so ungrateful.
