I met a disturbed woman who told me she won't leave my office until she sees my MD and I told her I will call her once he needs her next thing I called her she like what does the MD want to see her for? I thought I was dreaming all in all shaped she said they collected her 4kids her husband gave her money to come to my office now the money is missing we must pay her 5k that she has spent .

ReplyDeleteThe love of a grandma is special. God must have given us grandmothers to make our lives more complete, to make us better human beings. She played a huge part in my childhood and I can remember so many times sitting in her kitchen and tasting her dishes, making jest of her funny english (one time while my grandad was still alive, I asked her what she was doing in the kitchen and she replied, "I cook ya papa", 😂😂, i never stopped telling everyone about it with my big mouth), those unending different stories of 'mbe'(Mr tortoise ) ahhh with the songs. She taught me a lot about love and the meaning of family, she wasn't just my grandmother, but my guardian, my friend and my inspiration, my prayer warrior, my intercessor.
Stil can’t believe my lovely Grandma was taken away from us. What is a village without a grandmother, very empty, very very empty, will I ever be able to look forward to village trips? Those days you would call and say, don't wait ya papa, I'll send someone to come and bring you back, I have bought Indoma(indomie), egg, tea, minara(mineral), when you come, we will kill the chicken, she doesn't even want you to bring a thing back, my hardworking grandmother, I'm sorry we grew up and the holidays became shorter and shorter.
Love you grandma, you may have passed on but your memories would always live on within us. Hearing about how you suffered these last few days and the thought that I couldn't be there (was anxiously waiting for Friday evening so I could make that trip), cried all through the night but I woke up full with hope and praises. It is well.
Thank you for your sacrifices, your care, your love, your prayers, Ada Jesus! go on and meet your master. I'll forever be grateful I had the opportunity to experience and to know the love of a grandmother.

DeleteOnce a monk lived near a river. Just across the street lived a lady alone in her home. The Monk noticed that a large number of men visited her and due to this the monk decided to speak to her.
ReplyDeleteOne day when the lady was returning home, the monk met her on the way and said, “You are a great sinner. What you do reveals your lack of respect towards God. Don’t you ever think about what will happen to you after you die??”
The Poor lady was shaken by the words of the monk and felt sorry for what she did and prayed to God out of genuine repentance. She prayed to God, “I feel really terrible. Please forgive me for my doing and please help me find another means of earning for a living.”
Weeks passed by but she wasn't able to find any another means of earning and had to go back to prostitution. When the monk saw men going to that lady's house he felt annoyed by the thought that his talks had no effect on her. He then thought to himself, “From now on, I will keep count of the number of men going in that house until the sinner dies.” So from that day he used to keep eye on that house and would add a stone to keep count of each men going in.
On the other hand every time a man comes, the lady would ask for God’s forgiveness.
After sometime again that monk met that lady and seeing he called her and pointed towards the pile of stones, “You see that pile of stones?? Each stone represents the mortal sin committed by you. I say to you once more.. Don't do that sin again..!!”
The woman trembled to see the pile of stones. She went home and wept in repentance and prayed to God, “O Lord, When will you free me from this wretched life?”
Her prayers were listened and same night the angel of death came carried her off and also took the monk living across with him. The Lady's soul was sent straight up to heaven and the monk’s soul was sent to hell.
When he saw what’s happening he cried out, “Is this your justice? I spent my whole life in devotion and poverty and yet I am carried off to hell and that lady who sinned all her life since she was born went aloft up to heaven..”
God replied, “God’s purpose are always just. You thought that devoting yourself to God means you can Judge other’s. While you filled your heart with impurity of other’s sin.
That lady shed away her sin with pure repentance and her soul was so light that she went to heaven and your soul weighed down with stones is too heavy to lift..”
Moral: you shouldn't Judge other’s. You should Just be Good and look for Good in Other’s and Devote your life to God with True Heart.
