ReplyDeleteFact 2; I like Jay Z and all but if it were up to me, Eminem should have been the first rapper to be inducted into the song writer hall of fame considering the fact that Em' has proven over and over again that there aren't a lot of rappers/emcees/lyricists(or whatever title they like to give themselves to feel cool) that can out-rap him.

DeleteI beg to differ, I don't consider Tupac a rap god, yes he was a good rapper and all but he didn't surpass certain standards.
In fact, I strongly believe Biggie was a better rapper than Pac.
Pac was more of a street poet and gangster rapper( that was basically the in thing amongst his contemporaries back then). Do you really think Pac would be as relevant as say an Ice Cube who just got a star on the Hollywood walk of fame or say a Jay Z or even a Snoop who has never sold below a platinum records and is one of the very few rappers with the highest endorsements today if he was still alive? I think not.
But I can see why you would say that and I've got respect for it.
