The Interviewer started by saying Michelle has ''two hundred and thousand followers..''...I honestly do not understand this interview at all.....It's a three minute interview, please watch and discuss!
Following the alleged brutal beating of her mum by her step-dad few weeks back which generated lot of harsh comments on social media, 16 year old Michelle, daughter of the embattled popular actress, Mercy Aigbe in a short interview with #BroadwayTV speaks on how this has affected her so bad that she feels pained reading her comment section ..
The young teenager says she's is too young for what she's made to go through...
The young teenager says she's is too young for what she's made to go through...
Her mother should be monitoring her instagram page. Does she know how many men are out there preying on young girls? Then also the mother didn't think of her daughter and son when she and her husband decided to start disgracing themselves on social media. I pity this girl cos human beings are mean. Nugerians are frustrated. They go to her page and cuss a teenager out cos of what they feel her mom did forgetting this might leave a permanent mental scar. Instagram has given options. Her mother should disable comments on her page
ReplyDeleteTrinity u said it ALL. When pple wash dir dirty linens without minding d implications
DeleteShe should get off Instagram please
DeleteDid mercy tell u she needs it lame advise,?I too sabi oshi
DeleteI think Mercy should get her daughter a good English teacher who can teach the art of speaking coherently. I have a 13 year old who's English, sentence structure and use of grammar is similar to that of a well educated adult. The problem is not being on social media; I see a lot of comments on here slating Mercy for allowing her to be on social media -that's irrelevant. She's 16, and we live in a world where parents have to accept that this is now the norm, but at the same time device all sorts of ways to limit the time spent on social media, and ensure that we are aware of what our kids get up to, as much as we can.
DeleteThe real problem is a 16 year old that can't construct a proper coherent sentence, looking upwards as if searching for the words and obviously not very self confident. Mercy, face your child.
She's quite dull. Cannot even speak well and is not confident. See her voice. She's definitely on d wrong part with the kind of answers she's giving.
DeleteAnonymous 10:59 we re Nigerians and not Americans I don't expect her to fake an accent she spoke well there is nothing wrong with how she spoke. If in your house you breed you kids to ve a fake accent let it end in ur house. It's people like you that use 5 accent in a sentence. Let the girl be and train your child the way you want
DeleteAt 10;59. Sm is everything wrong in this case! Ask urself y Omotala's children r not bashed! All you pple acting western in Nija I pity una o! Mk Omo T try put semi naked pix for here, her dignity will b dragged! Let her do Open runs like mercy same shyt will behold her, u dare not behave stupid here and expect ur kids not to b tormented. We r not Oyibo! News fly ard, Mercy is a known runs babe in d movie circle and dis news flies.... Keep ur dignity it helps in shielding ur kids..... Slay Queen with a child almost semi illiterate at 16! Smh
DeleteAnon 10:59 her parent ain't better nau!u no read all d bomb wey mercy and her husband wan use finish us during dia bruhaha.
DeleteThe girl sounds kinda unintelligent and what's with the sound she keeps making with her mouth?? Smacking her lips?? As for the friend with her, what's her own??? Then superstar??? Never heard of the girl. Maybe in ipaja, idimu or wherever they stay. Oh and her English is kinda somehow. Looking at mercy I guess they speak Yoruba at home so she's forgiven!!
DeleteAnon 12:43 who is talking about accent here. Her spoken English is bad. Please how old is she? She cant even construct a simple sentence. What school does she attend? O my God
DeleteSeriously, I can't even watch the video. What school does this girl attend?
DeleteMercy is busy posting things online and fighting her husband instead of her to make this girl better.
This should be a shame to mercy, you buy designer but your money no show for your pikin, is it lack of exposure or what?
Why was she snaking her lips after each sentences? That's unladylike.
I am Yoruba, this is really embarrassing.
Just that few minutes interview and you could see it all.
Mercy, let this girl be your priority and let go of the craziness you and your husband are displaying.
Nonsense.
Eyaa
ReplyDeletePoor baby!...
She will soon have a daddy number three!...
Women that open their legs to born for different men should consider those children they bring in!...
Mercy,I like you but please, don't marry another husband!!...
You won't die!!...
Thank you. At least she has both sexes now. Imagine if she remarries again and had another baby from yet another man. I'm not trying to be a Judgina here cause God knows I got my own issues but this one na pure logic.
DeleteMeanwhile i have no idea why Mercy is the one handling her daughter's Instagram account.
*why Mercy isnt the one handing her daughter's account
DeleteHandling her account. At 16?? I beg the girl can manage it herself. Judginas
DeleteThat's why its my opinion, not yours. Tankio
DeleteNa wa oo make i know talk wetin dey mind sha, since she's been cyberbullied.
ReplyDelete👣👣👣👣👣👣👣
Anyway she is still a child so let me pardon the way she took the interview like a child's play
DeleteWhy she dey make dat annoying sound with her mouth , see model. Make her waka waka mama train dis pickin oooo.
ReplyDeleteExactly dat sound was totally uncalled for very annoying
DeleteWhy she dey make dat annoying sound with her mouth , see model. Make her waka waka mama train dis pickin oooo.
ReplyDeleteSo you are one of those with different ids causing problems here with it
DeleteHow many ID's only u get, causing confusion upandan, na yu stl comment up der so.
DeleteBusted
DeleteHahahahaha
DeleteFowl yansh have open today
DeletePraise thy Lord!! We don catch one o.hehehehehe😆😆😆😆😆
DeleteLmfao...
DeleteAsiri tu!
DeleteYour mother expose you too early to the world and she's making you grow up too fast.
ReplyDeleteExactly.
DeleteI'm sorry...i dnt see how "exposed" she is. I dnt even understand how she can be called a teen model.
DeleteA 16 year old that should be in university cannot express herself better than that??? Its alarming.
The idea should be to make your kids better than you...Mercy face your children.
I love this comment
DeleteTouch I thank u!! On point:
DeleteIt is well with you dear. That is the pain of being a celebrity's daughter
ReplyDeleteHeya life of a star
ReplyDeletePeople will pay her in her mom's coin.
Since she is too young for what she is going through
She needs to be off social media faa
Go off social media girl
ReplyDeleteShe doesn't need to.
DeleteShe should disable her comment
That way no one can leave comment on her page. She will be free to post why she likes and still get alot of likes.
Exactly @ FabMum
DeleteSome African mothers tho,why open an IG page for a sixteen years old? Isn't she suppose to be studying? See dat Regina Daniels Slaying upandan too.....Smh
ReplyDeleteLmao. Please this is 2017. Out last born who isn't up 12yrs old is on instagram. Errm, the world has revolved.
DeleteThe girl with the catxh phrase #cashmeoutside
#howaboutthat
How old is she??
She's on instagram and making alot of money. She's not even 15yrs old
Gbam. She's not even up go sixteen. Very wrong something.
DeleteThat Regina girl don tear eye finish.
Fab Mum who cares if your last born of 5 years is on instagram??? Is your family the standard to follow? A sensible mum will know that the world has evolved and there are to many dangers of letting your children mingle with all kinds of people in the name of social media. Do you monitor your 12 years old's phone to see his/her DMs? Are children supposed to be reading about Davido's baby mamas or all the immoral things you see on social media??? Point is make your children your frown and let them understand in a nice way that social media is for adults. Get them other nice things, give some good life such that they won't think they are missing out. Be wise otherwise the future generation will 'SPOIL' before primary 1. Is the 'cash me outside' girl your children's role model? So if you see a 10 year old pornstar making money will you also say it's okay for children to tow that path????
DeleteSpot on.
DeleteThat the world is revolving in negative ways doesnt require you following suit.
Please keep tabs on your kids!! Even adults are filtering what they do on social media...why bring kids into the whole drama, hate and negativity that goes on dere?
What truly do d kids miss when they are off social media??...what do You miss out on when you are off SM...
Her diction is very poor.
DeleteShe should be more engaged in educational activities/speech classes/art of speaking et all than on the Internet.
I really do not have a problem with her being on I.G. she is 16 right?her page ought to be thoroughly monitored though.
Secondly, why did her mum permit her to grant any form of interview?
Nigerians trying to appear more western than the westerners but on a wrong foundation. Na wa
Anon 11:44, God bless you, you said it all
Delete@anon 11:44
DeleteSo?? How is my family standard your problem? You worry shouldn't be why her daughter is on Instagram. It should be some thing else. Maybe, why she isn't composed, why she can't construct perfect speech and what not but not why she is on social media.
Don't do her mothers Job.if the mother deemed it fit to allow her be on social media, then your opinion isn't needed. say something useful and stop looking for who to attack...
Whether a child is on Instagram or not, a child that is going to spoil is going to spoil. A child that is going to learn bad things will learn them irrespective of whether they are on Instagram or not
How many of the little kids in the rural areas are on Instagram? Yet we hear shocking details concentrating them
Amy Child can be on Instagram. The parents should just teach them moderation. Moderation is key. No one they should be on Instagram and when they should be with their books. What they should post and what they shouldn't.
Shallom
Fab Mum so asides from all the other more important things a Mum has to do, it's to keep tabs on her phone or her SM accounts right? Don't you think that's expending energy in a non profit venture? The time she would use to monitor what she does on SM she can get her English polished up by an English tutor. The spoilt children in the villages will spoil if they are not well taken care of, it doesn't justify exposing young minds to all the harm that abound on SM. SM is bad for children
DeleteU shouldn't have fab mum as a name but bad mum instead...ghetto kids are not well trained cos they lack money to b well protected, to go to the best schools and grow in good neighborhoods...the fact remains that alot of people on social media today grew up a dysfunctional family or grew up in the streets and are now selling their perception to the world and just bcos they are a success, the growing ones deem it fit to follow their ways...that is what the devil is using to destroy this world... Someone like bobrisky that grew up in the village and went thru being a dirty faggot on the street somehow finds himself on the limelight and being promoted by this same social media, how do u think it will affect growing kids...will not get any internet access phone for my kids till they get to 18... I don't wanna contribute to the fast destruction of the world
DeleteMy dear all of u saying rubbish about instagram Accts if u like do not open for ur teen kids. They all have fake ids. At 16 she's too young??? I beg stop being hypocritical. The official age in IG is 13. The people know why they made it so
Delete@anon 17:32
DeleteAbi o. Don't allow your own kids on social media.
The other anon, come and remove the fab feom my name and add bad. Hoping that makes you sleep well to night. As if kids that are not in rural environment aren't spoilt even without been on social media.
@fab mum or bad mum pls shutup. Your family last born as a baby did what? In d northern village where they live ko? How many Hausa people are on Facebook talk of Instagram. Change your name to Fabu Mum. You lie too much.
DeleteNa so one yeye mother tel ALIBABA say if he no follow her 14 years old daughter for IG she go tell all her friends to unfollow him😱 like WTH!!
ReplyDeleteI laughed hard when Alibaba made a post on it. So funny😂😂😂😂
Deleteif you dey too young to go through cyber bullying, then wetin u come dey do for IG?IG dey like children's home for your eyes?that your runz mama wey no fit advice you dey exploit you any how.
ReplyDeleteToo much exposure IMO.
ReplyDeleteHmmmm, Eya Kpele. Your mum exposed you to the world at an early age. So you need a stong mind or shock absolver to face whatever comes your way.
ReplyDeleteHer mum is the causer of her predicament. Gentry will care less since he is not her father.
ReplyDeleteIf she wants to be sane for a while, get off social media for now. Even if she'd be back, operate low key.
With all the ongoings surrounding her mum's marriage to Gentry, she might not be able to handle the Internet Children of Anger on her case.
'Internet Children of Anger' ICA for short. My chest oh
Delete😁😁😁Mrs B
DeleteThe child has no business being on Instagram in the face place. Mercy exposed her baby to the world and should be blamed for this
ReplyDeleteI remember a certain picture of hers some years back which went viral.
People cautioned Madam Slay Queen on yet she refused to listen.
I don't blame the cyber bullies one bit, her Mum and her signed up for it the day she opened her own Instagram account. What about when she was receiving praises and getting called "sexy, beautiful, dope diva" or when her followers hail her Mum whenever she uses her as WCW? in situations like this she is not supposed to pass comment at all but it seems she doesn't know and her Mum forgot to school her on that aspect.
ReplyDeleteBTW that her attaché friend annoys the heck out of me. What she feeling like? Supportive BFF?
Why on earth allow her grant any form of interview for goodness sake?
DeleteHhhhmmmm. She's too young for this kind of unhealthy exposure.
ReplyDeleteThe girl is too young to have an Instagram page I can imagine the comments she reads every now and then.
ReplyDeleteAll I see is she already having a brand, nice!!!!.
ReplyDeleteAwwwww sweetty! You will be fine
ReplyDeleteAll I see is a young girl with no home training, trying to shoulder a ton of responsibilities way above her
ReplyDeleteVery soon now we'll start hearing about how mercy's new magodo house boyfriend want to sleep with her teenage daughter. That's what she's exposing girl to
ReplyDeleteOfio
I pity her already, that her best friend seem like someone that will really open her eyes to 'stuff'
ReplyDeleteLeave IG for now girl!
Cynthia you figured too yea? That her friend "favour" actually seem like the one giving her liver. Support system.
DeleteMake una nor they comment like illiterates, there is absolutely nothing wrong with her being on IG.
ReplyDeleteA 14year old boy here in 'the abroad' has a media/game site and he is cashing out heavily.
It's only unfortunate that an average nigerian has agreed to live a provincial life and they r frustrated and not willing to learn and be exposed.
Pikin when wan spoil go spoil, with or without social media
Wake up people we re in the 21st century and not ur grandmothers time.
Ehnnn
Our only concern should be that her mother should take her to a good school cos her diction/english nor good at all, Infact even her friend n the interviewer.
The interviewer, camera_man, microphone, are all mad..how them go they ask her those kinda questions
Gbangan notice:
1.interviewer: with like two hundred and thousand followers (Broadway please sack her)she nor sabi her job
2.mitcheel-if u are not strong enough u can like to like reduce your self esteem(seriously? )is it just or she sounds like ese from koko mansion!!!!
Then there is nothing like"stuffs"its stuff, it's already in a plural form.
ok bye
Thank you very much... The interviewer na local person... Everything was razz plus the Mercy daughter
DeleteLike seriously!! The supposed teen model...wait scratch that...a 16 Year Old cannot express herself like a young adult???
DeleteSo apparently, its ohkay for her to be on IG and have a "brand" but she's "too young" to handle herself articulately and confidently?? What kind of exposure is everyone yelling about if she's not being exposed to sound diction and articulate speaking??!
Razz, wack and Local. First time hearing her talk and I'm totally disappointed.
DeleteHappy child there is everything wrong with being on social media as a child. Whatever example you gave no follow okay. If you're a jobless housewife then maybe you can be monitoring her phone or totally leave her to do what's she likes because 2 years old in'the abroad' are on instagram
DeleteDon't mind Nigerians. 13 is the official instagram age. Mscheeeew.
DeleteAnon16:33 I get your point, but common d world n even technology is developing everyday
DeleteIt's gonna be impossible to stop kids of this generation from using social media
And I heard she's 17years, I don't think that's too young.
Then take your opinion somewhere else
DeleteThank u too
OK.... Stay off social media girl, Nothing to Learn there except depression.
ReplyDeleteI really feel for her. This is one reason why some celebrities don't want their children active on social media until they are of age.
ReplyDeleteMercy Aigbe,please protect your daughter.
This is where i applaud Genevieve a million times over
DeleteLike mother like daughter...if u wanna marry woman...watch how close the daughter is with her mum if u don't want what happened in 2017 repeat itself in 2037
DeleteHer mother's fault, she exposed her too early to SM.people following the world blindly.
ReplyDeleteI watched the interview, and I kept being irritated by a lot of things. The girls manners were so "off".I disliked her immediately, and that doesn't happen very often
ReplyDeleteCelebrities make una learn o. The world out there is dangerous. Your kids mustn't shine alongside you. Let them shine at the appropriate time. This girl is too exposed at her age. I no be judginia, ijust spoke my mind.
ReplyDeleteWhat is she doing on Instagram? Is that her textbook?
ReplyDeleteAbeg make she go face book and let the world bother about things dat matter. She and her mama too get drama for body.
Beautiful girl with a poor command of English. I wonder if the next generation will produce scientists, doctors, lawyers etc.... mercy please let this girl spend more time studying than modeling.
ReplyDeleteLmao. Command of English determines if one becomes a doctor or scientist??
DeleteHaving a good command of English doesnt determine that dear. It's what is upstairs. I'm not excusing her and command of English tho. I'm just saying.
The articulation was bad, a country where we speak English. Even illiterates ensure their kids go to school and most kids try to speak good English this days let alone Mercy's child.
DeleteWhat does mercy do with her spare time? Posting pictures of visiting dentist in the abroad and writing epistles of how your husband cheated and abused you.
Mercy, wakeup please. This girl is your future; monitor her real well and spend quality time with her. Her English na ZERO, Haba!
Its every parents prayer that their kids should do better than them; I don't get this please.
Your daughters manner and body language is unladylike and you need to watch the type of friends she keeps.
There should be boundaries, she shouldn't be granting interviews while ure not there especially on your marital issues. She's not an actress or celebrity.
I tire for Nigerians, this is an absolute shame. Ignore your husband for now and concentrate on this girl who is your future.
By the way, who is the stupid interviewer?
why wouldn't she be too young for what she's made to go tru when she's been on IG since age 14?
ReplyDeleteI hope y'all watched the video.
ReplyDeleteThat girl needs a guide asap.
Mercy needs to do right by this Child. Get her off social
ReplyDeleteMedia. Kids this age should stay focused with Education and how to achieve a better life. Fun for her should be going to beach, pool parties, sleep overs and house parties not being paraded by her Mum on social media in tight outfits.
My 2 kobo shaa!!!
Everybody must not go the university..Snfh .The Beyonce's and Oprah's y'all adore, started right from when they were infants..
Delete14.15 Beyoncé didn't grow up in Nigeria where you must attain tertiary education to get a job okay
DeleteBless you Anonymous 16:36. Beyonce grew up were kids have confidence and speak well even if they can't write.
DeleteMercy should ignore her husband and focus on this girl who usy her future, the girls composure is ZERO.
So sorry to say but she sounded highly unintelligent.
Firstly, the interviewer is a very local person... Secondly, dear mercy you need to take this as a matter of urgency to get your daughter properly trained in the act of speaking. She has a little bit of " razzness" in her.. Which she tried concealing but e no work...Anyway na one rope tie una two.. No class
ReplyDeleteam sorry but for a 16 year old she aint smart or should i say intelligent. my 6 year old godson would have granted a better interview. at 16 i was jumping from jamb lesson ,to waec and also neco. i was busy fucking my books not on social media. and her yeye mom will be somewhere looking for any idiot to have a baby for when she can bare raise this one properly. mtcheeeew why am i even bothered about her, when the mama wey born her dont give a fuck?
ReplyDelete*hangs leg on the wall*
Did she say she is popping???? Ana eme nu!!!!!
ReplyDeleteHmmmmmmmm, that one made me laff small. Popping? At this age and time.
DeleteThis is s big disgrace to Mercy, this is her future wasting away.
The razness in the girl is not from Lagos i swear.
Why go around showing off when you can't push your kids ahead of you
Who is the stupid interviewer by the way?
Mercy, focus on this girl please she's your future and needs you badly. Her spoken English na Hmmmm Hmmmm, rara.
Very local something smh. Teen model kor teen model ni. She cant even express herself.
ReplyDeleteAnon 10:59 thank you.
ReplyDeleteWhat this girl needs now is proper grooming, not instagram.
ReplyDeleteIf this is the best English your daughter can speak in this competitive generation, then all your 'slaying' is in vain @Mercy
Nigerians are so backwards...English is not freaking education...Some of the best doctors in the world are Germans, and they can't speak English. ..She must learn to express herself well in whatever dialect or language she speaks...She needs to be confident...
DeletePreach!
Delete@13:21.
DeleteYour last line; Preach!!!
Preach it der
Delete14.19 it's about fluency not the language. And no the best doctors in the world are not Germans
DeleteBut they can speak German perfectly...u sef olodo like the girl
DeleteI don't understand most of the comments here. At 16, I was in my first year in the university. Difference is mumsy didn't let me go outside our state. My cousin, who is 16 is currently in FUTO. Nobody is there to "monitor" her. Another cousin is in her final year in a university in the US. Uni that she started at 15+ and staying in the school hostel. When I read such comments as litters this post, I wonder how people think kids are being trained. Biko how old is the youngest Jerner(Kardashian)? How long has she been on the 'net? I didn't turn out badly, neither has my final-year-student cousin. Instead of focusing on the girl's age and instagram use, why not prefer solutions on how she can either avoid the bullying or how she can handle it like a few have done?
ReplyDeleteMini-Mercy, I'd suggest you disable your comments and just post things to your heart's content. Ask your mum to help you work on your mannerisms and comportment. Don't let anyone belittle you and do not let anyone tell you that you're less of a person than you are. Work on yourself too to build self confidence maybe by quoting positive, confidence-boosting things to yourself in the mirror daily. You are not what society makes you but what you make yourself. Don't let anybody punish you for the alleged sins of your mother. Sarcasm can be a weapon
Exactly.
DeletePeople are more worried about her age and being on the Instagram like that determines a child abilities to be bad or good. Like that's a factor
Fab Mum please change your name cos your thought pattern is 'anti fab mum'
DeleteSo the kardashians are not the perimeter for moral values...i just pity those that will end up with ur kids
DeleteDon't mind Nigerians. All they do is judge. From 13 u can have an IG acct and there's nothing wrong with it. Hypocrites.
DeleteAnon, come and change it..
DeleteWhat are you waiting for
I'm sorry but I refuse to share your opinion
Take your archaic opinion some where else.
@16,she should not be on instagram? Lmao
Please keep it moving
Bring up your own kids and let me do mine, just as mercy is doing hers.
Fabmum listen 2 pipul n change ur name 2 Fabu mum. You talk out of point 24-7
DeleteHad to go back to her page to check her out..she does seem to have a nice personality after all.
ReplyDeleteShe should just work on herself...there's room for self-development.
Mercy plz change her school now and let her face her book
ReplyDeleteu guys r so childish never y=u expect any1 to live up to ure expectation...who d hell r u to judge r u God see dem taliking baout who speaks better nd who doesntt maga's come out nd speak lets hear you acting like say dem perfect .....anyways as for me i reallly enjoyed the fact that they were themselves during the interview hw often do u get to see real humans today! fakes!.....u guys er pathetic!
ReplyDeleteI just tire for Nigerians, the girl is ok abeg
DeleteShe said her friend is an actor shuuu..
ReplyDeleteThe young lady beside her is IYABO OJO's daughter.
ReplyDeletePls how can I get a blog id
ReplyDeleteI was a tad disappointed really, I don't expect her to speak queens English or have an American accent or what not but this video made me cringe. Maybe I expected too much from Mercy over her daughter mayb the slay-age up and down and glossyness over social mediaclouded my expectation of her but come on this video is somehow abeg
ReplyDelete
