''Happy first birthday to my darling daughter Mary. Just want to tell this small story about Mary.
Mary is my third child, her elder ones Richard and Nina share the same birth month with their Dad, while mine is May, when Doctor told me that Mary's EDD was 1st week of June, I went home that day and started talking to her while she was still cooking in my oven, I told her that we have to be the same month (May) and also told God.
I'm so glad to announce to you that I share same month with Mary. We only have two birthday month in my family (September and May). Mary is my birthday gift
, I love her so much! So after her 6weeks check up, Doctor detected a murmur in her heart, and asked us to run Eco test, we did, they found out that she has small ASD, Tiny PDA meaning a HOLE in her heart. OMG!
I wept that day. But the Doctors at Luth assured me that there is every possibility for it to close up before 6months, or they will refer us to India for surgery. I prayed and prayed, I reminded God of my tithe, sowed seed in the church, after service I will go to alter and pray.
So after 6 months we went for another Eco and x-ray test.......The hole has closed up!!! There is no one like my JESUS! KING OF ALL KINGS!! ALPHA AND OMEGA!

ReplyDeleteMy friend and Classmate also had this hole in the heart. Someone that has been healthy all her life. One day she Fainted.
Her Doctor said her heart is like someone that have been smoking for a long time, Yet she doesn't smoke nor drink alcohol.
You can all remember When I called for prayers here for her Divine healing.
After They have booked her for Surgery in India, Our Class Adviser said lie lie, that She will not go anywhere. That God will do the Surgery Himself.
Na so we join Faith,fasted,prayed and sowed a seed for her Healing.
She is now Hale and Hearty. God answered our Prayers. c

ReplyDeleteThis brought tears to my eyes,because it reminded me of my dad. When he was sick there was no prayer point I didn't take,I sowed seed,connected my tithe to his healing,reminded God of my Labour of love towards the furtherance of the gospel. But alas he died.
I almost gave up everything because my faith was so high and I wasn't expecting anything other than his healing.
But after months of being angry because we the kids are still young the spirit of God brought to my remembrance how my dad have his life to Christ,my dad was very stubborn so whenever we want to lead him to Christ he will tell you he goes to church na and he always do the right thing,even when he was sick we told him to say the salvation prayer but he kept telling us he is a believer.
One faithful day he was the one who called and asked that he should be led to Christ,my elder sister led him to Christ(he said the salvation prayer),the next day he became unconscious,three days after he passed on to glory.
The Lord told me he was with Him already and I should rejoice (the voice was so audible even though I was crying).
Though I miss him physically here on earth but I'm happy because one day we will meet again in glory.
And the Lord has indeed been my comforter.

ReplyDeleteThis post brought tears to my eyes. Thank God for shaming the devil. That was how one of my sons came with a very curvy bow leg that we were advised to correct it with surgery. We didn't answer them as we were even very 'rich' Today, he is a handsome and lively boy. Happy birthday Mary.
