Funmi Iyanda Says Both Men And Women Have The RIGHT To Cheat And That No One Owns Anyone..

Funmi is not anybody's Aunty but you can ask her ANYTHING....Lol

On her programme "Ask Funmi", she says women cheat because they are humans too.

She quoted someone, saying "there's nothing like cheating because you do not own anybody".

She also said "the husband and wife do not own each other, honesty is the key word". "When people cheat, it's all about what they want. What I find funny is the assumption that only men have the right to cheat, that's not true. Both men and women have the propensity to cheat".

"However, the society punishes the women more. Things have changed, feminism and all. Now, the consequences of a man cheating in his marriage are now higher. In Western societies where the woman gets half of the man's properties after divorce, men tend to cheat less."

"Women now cheat more because the consequences are no longer dire. They do not cast them aside like it was done in the past. What I am trying to say is that being in a marriage does not mean you both own each other. When you make your partner feel owned, that gives rise for pretense.

They won't be able to express how they feel. Men are made to believe that sex is an entitlement that could be gotten from any woman. I hope a time comes when men feel belittled to have s3x with just anyone".

" It is not natural that only men should cheat. It is natural that both men and women should desire to have s3x. Can we all just get away from the idea of cheating and see s3x as something we do as part of our emotional well-being? Let's start seeing relationships as something that makes us become better beings by being with the other person. Problems will come and we'll deal with them as we progress. Once again, you cannot cheat because you do not own me"

She just continued with beating about the bush....

''Aunty''Funmi still havent forgotten how nice you were to me...Still got mad love for you 'crazy' woman!..I know you will read this..*Blows kiss*

    1. Please lawyers. What is the take on law on a situation where you discover that your child is not from DH. Amidst divorce where the man wants to have the child. Meanwhile DH was a divorcee but never told the wife and hence used bachelor in the marriage registry.

    1. Gbam.... Abeg tell them o. The two shall become one. Who says no one owns the other. They both own each other once they sign the dotted lines. Abeg leave Funmi Iyanda alone. When the fail in an aspect of life they start justifying what is not. Young ones it's how you lay your beds that's how you will lie on it. If you think your husband is public property or has no owner so shall it be but if you know and you are sure he is yours then he is your damn property and don't let any marriage frustrated person tell you otherwise. Am a married man of almost 20yrs. I confidently say I own my wife and she owns me 150%....cause of the lovely children she has given me. Cheating is NOT acceptable both ways cause marriage and relationships are built, maintained and sustained on TRUST !!!

  16. This woman sef...that's how she made a rubbish statement during the BBN brouhaha that people hate TBOSS because they want to be like her. That people hate what they wish to be like. Keep fucking anyhow cos u can, HIV and STDs are real!

  17. See this old woman.
After paying a woman's brideprice and marrying in the presence of God you go to SM to say nonsense. This is how these people stay justifying their failures by trying to stir up controversy.
See, a man owns his wife just as the wife owns her husband. If in doubt ask your bible.
Even your village gods know that one.
If she has sense let her try marring more than one husbands at same time and lets see.

  18. When a man and woman stand in the presence of GOD to take their wedding vows, they now own each other!

Cheating is not a sole right of a man or woman! Just that women are more at the receiving end than men! Hence, women are more cautious. If not for pregnancy and society shaming, men for see shege in the hands of women! Men fear this, thus, so much law and scriptural doctrines to suppress women!

BTW, is it not with women, men cheat with sef? Both single and married? What an irony!

  19. Y'all should mind who you listen to. Just listen to what this woman that calls herself the "chief witch" of Naija is saying. Don't take it lightly that she boldly calls herself a "witch", it's not a joke, witches abound and have their religion and sects in the UK.

The bible tells you in 1Corinthians 7:4 that your body belongs to your husband and your husband's body belongs to you. You both have AUTHORITY over each other's body. Then some woman, who is best an atheist, will come to tell you otherwise.
Let's please have discernible spirits and not get carried away with who we think she is.

  20. Yoruba women sha. They don't forbid anything. A Nigeria girl stays abroad for 2months and start forming western feminism. But the westerners will never imitate our own culture. Point of correction Aunty: no western law says only the man's property will be shared in the event of divorce, they share both, men and women. It only happens that the percentage of men richer than women is higher that is why men feel the financial impact more. Now there is something called pre-nupt. You sign agreement whereby each party leaves with only what they brought in. During GEJ erra if we had started kilking muslims just Because boko haram where killing xtians would that have solved the problem? No. Stop advising the African woman to cheat, it remain a cause and a taboo in our land. Let's advise the cheating men to be responsible.not all men cheat anyway.
