Former Beauty queen turned Registered Nurse in the US,mother of three Beautiful Children, wife and motivational Speaker Regina Askia Williams has just become an American citizen after so many years in the US...She shares the shocking questions she was asked........
Regina posted this 16 hours ago on her facebook wall....
''Hello Face book Fam.
15 years in America as a green card holder, i never felt any type of pressure to change status, all these years until Trump came. I always thought the blue passport was not necessary after all i was still nursing big political ambitions for Nigeria.
I never cared for the inconvenience of being separated from the rest of my family who are all Americans to boot, ( except Stephy who is French) when ever we had to pass through immigrations on our many travels.
And then Trump and his extreme vetting policies which by the way folks is no joke. Questions like forsaking all royalty and titles, will you bear arms for the country, when and why did your name change from Imaobong to Regina, have you ever been arrested, do you have any criminal records, do you owe money under a different name, when did you first come into America, when and where did you get married, how many times have you been married, what was your entry point into the country ( to ensure I did not float over on a log or scurry over in a tunnel).
Why does your adopted daughter have the same name as you
( Africans know its a thing of Honor to have a child named after you), what is your source of income, what outstanding fees do you owe ( at this point my heart flutters, maybe Great Lakes has told them things about school loans).
I was surprised they didn't ask if I was born female. Anyway after all said and done..... I got a handshake and walked out of there as............''
LOL@Didn't ask if she was female.
Has anyone had to go through status change because Trump administration?or are you running because you do not have papers?I know someone who has been in America for 22years,has never visited home, does not have investors and does not have papers...I wonder how such person will cope now under Trump!
Congrats Reggie on your new status as........
No be small thing. America of life.
ReplyDeleteI did also become a citizen because of Trump and those that voted for him. They asked questions but mine was straight because I be straight person๐No woruworu
Deleteoya ooo awon americanas come and jist us
ReplyDeleteI fail to see what the problem is. You are a visitor not a citizen. If you want to be treated like a citizen, become one. Simple as a, b, c.
ReplyDeleteDo you owe money under a different name๐๐๐๐
DeleteSorry, I don't understand your question. Please, clarify.
DeleteWhy? You want to pay it for me?
DeleteFine Lady
ReplyDeleteNa Wah!

ReplyDeleteWe were asked our grandparents dob and marriage date wen we were applying for our British passport and den dose questions.
In all, dese r just normal questions in immigration.
Yes oh. I was asked my parents occupation and why I did an MBA. My mother's maiden name and what has changed in my life between the first time I applied and the most recent one. I come dey wonder wetin parents occupation dey do inside. Hian!
DeleteOmo mehn, she had better upgrade to team Blue. Crassly speaking, who green epp?
ReplyDeleteI should also do same too.
I tire, who green EPP? I dey shame to bring out my green and I only use it when coming to Nigeria so I don't have to apply for Nigerian visa.
DeleteThe annoying thing is, people with foreign passports will even pass through before you at MMA when you arrive in Nigeria.
Mtcheeeeeeeeeeeew, who green EPP?
Lol,very serious question
ReplyDeleteCongrats Reggy.
ReplyDeleteDont mind them jare, na their way.
I love Trumps administrations. People are learning to do the right thing.
ReplyDeleteThese questions are very normal for those who want to become u.s. citizens by naturalization. Besides, the questions are very reasonable if you take your time to figure out they were being asked. Congratulations
ReplyDeleteThey are not normal
DeleteExactly these are normal questions, they ask during your citizenship interview or when you seek to join the military. I was asked the same. She just wants some attention
DeleteThey are very normal questions.
DeleteCongrats! to her but what is this hype with becoming a US citizen?
ReplyDeleteask google
DeleteCongrats
ReplyDeleteI recently filed for my US Citizenship and I was asked the same questions. Everyone is given the same form to fill. Why is she making it such a big deal? The questions have been the same even in Obama's regime.
ReplyDeleteAnyway Congrats Madam.
Aren't these normal immigration questions?been through a green card interview, they ask similar yes and no questions
ReplyDeleteHow much do NURSES earn in usa
ReplyDelete$40-50 PER HOUR.☺☺☺
