This isn't about mouth odour; she isn't a willing party to the marriage. She was forced. Mouth odour does not kill, if all people who have mouth odour were not kissed on their wedding day, we would have had many cases like this... This girl was compelled probably by her parents to marry the guy. I feel sad for her.

DeleteI can't believe people are laughing about this. This happened in Abia state. The young girl is being forced into a marriage against her wish. She still young and never asked for this, her guardians put her in this situation because of money and no end is coming to her aid. This is very sad, the more sickening part is the rape she would have endured that night. Can kindhearted Nigerians please reach out and help this defenseless girl? She's most likely enduring constant rape and possibly domestic violence as we speak if she dares put up any resistance in the shameless husband's home judging from what transpired in that church on a supposed wedding day. Lord please help your children! This is heartbreaking.

She was clearly forced into the marriage. Maybe she is being used to pay off a debt. It's so sad. The reverend should have protected her not forced her to kiss the man. The girl looks like a teenager who is just tall and mature looking. I cried a little seeing her cry. And this is definately not a movie. Some of these men from a particular tribe would not get married until they have made enough money to pay a heavy bride price/ owning a whole woman. They'd be like 42 years old, then they would go and prey on teenagers instead of grown women. It's so sad. Even the women don't mind being owned like property, you hear them saying .. Which tuition, abeg.... Her guardians probably collected money from the guy and now the guy feels entitled. I had a pretty friend(17 year old oh) in part one who had to get married to this 40 year old man then. He wasn't rich but I think he sponsored her at some point. However he did not want to loose her in uni, he married her in st Dominic's church yaba, and she got pregnant twice in school sef. She attended lectures heavily pregnant. It was just weird as she was so young. She settled for the whole arrangement as she knew the deal.

He proposed marriage immediately after her NYSC and the girl refused. She was threatened by her uncle and she had no other choice than to give in.
