AISHA BUHARI's Future Assured Medical Outreach...

Women have been asked to check their blood pressure and blood sugar, and to make sure they check themselves for malaria, sickle cell anaemia, hepatitis, cervical and breast cancers.

This was made known by the wife of the president Mrs. Aisha Buhari at a health screening exercise in Durumi Camp for internally displaced persons (IDPs) in the FCT

The health screening exercise was a fulfillment of a promise made two weeks ago when members of her team visited the place and promised to come back

The Future Assured team along with forty medical personnel comprising, Doctors, nurses, laboratory scientists and pharmacists from the cry for help foundation who partnered with Future Assured were on ground to make sure the participants were attended to promptly

Mrs Buhari was represented by the National Coordinator, Future Assured Programme, Dr. Muhammad Kamal

Hundreds of the IDPs and residents of neighboring communities benefitted from the screening exercises, while their children were checked for eye as well as Ear Nose and Throat (ENT) infections.

Those who participated in the screening didn’t go home empty handed as food items, clothing, toiletries, beddings as well as drugs were distributed to them, courtesy of the Aisha Buhari Foundation
