Word For The Day -God Has Moved On

Have you ever met people who wouldnt leave their past alone? People who lay hold on their past misfortune and use it as a camouflage to cover up their failures?.

Luke 24: 4-5
4)And it happened, as they were greatly perplexed about this, that behold, two men stood by them in shining garments. 5)Then, as they were afraid and bowed their faces to the earth, they said to them, “Why do you seek the living among the dead?

Some people still date back to the tragedy that befell them 10years ago, as the reason they haven't moved any further in life. They remain under the umbrella of self pity and thus fail to realise that there is time for sympathy, and also time to dust off your shoulder, roll your sleeves and GET BACK TO WORK!

Whenever Heaven asks earth a question, you must realise that it is not for Heavens understanding but for earth's benefit!

When God asked Adam where are you?, God was not looking for Adam's geographical location, for God is Omnipresent! God was only implying, 'Adam, what have you done?'!

In our text, Jesus had been crucified and buried in a tomb. And three incredible women who loved Jesus to death, Mary magdalene, Joanne and Mary mother of James went on the third day to check on Jesus' body.

On reaching there, an Angel asked them the question of a lifetime; WHY SEEK THE LIVING AMONGST THE DEAD? These women came looking for Jesus in the tomb, not knowing that He no longer resides there.

Are you are looking for the right thing at the wrong place?

Could the problem be that you keep going back to your tomb whereas God has moved on and is waiting for you at your next level?

The tomb in this context may represent a heart break from a past relationship, a loss of job or even the loss of a loved one! In all of these, It is very ok to cry. Crying shows your humanity and sometimes relieves you of the pain. But crying and wailing for too long? The truth is, you don't find light inside a tunnel. If you must see the light, you must KEEP MOVING.

People often complain about their wealthy uncle or aunty who have refused to aid them with capital for business.. the truth is, nobody owes you aything! If they refuse to help, MOVE ON! There is only one person you cannot do without, that Person is God.

God is close to you, even if your feelings and predicament says otherwise. God has never joked about any of His word. So, when He said "I will never leave nor forsake you," He was not joking about it!

If you can gather some courage to move on, you will see God waiting for you in your next level!

It is written, THE LATTER SHALL BE GREATER THAN THE FORMER!
