    2. Exactly...
Even the educated one's still blame their wify

    3. You know why they push the blame to their wives? It's not like they don't know the truth; it's just their ego playing out.
      90% men crave for son(s).
some accept their fate if they eventually have none and love their girls regardless.
Others begin the blame games and some even proceed to fuck about (*pardon my French) in a quest for a male child

    4. In as much as the man determines the sex of the child, it is the duty of the woman to know her cycle. The last 2 days of your ovulation has been confirmed as the possible window for male child.

    5. Ferida are you an illiterate? Ovulation takes place in 1 day not days. Last 2 days bawo

  11. This life you can't please ppl. You don't marry they say go and get married. After the wedding and it's one year and no baby yet, they will say when will you get pregnant. You get pregnant and have 2girls. Next question when will you have a boy. Have 2boys when will you have girls.

If you have girls and your husband is insisting on a boy. Tell him to drop money for Gender selection in IVF. No one can be having 6kids in the name of looking for boy in this economy.

    1. Yes very true but Igbo men don't joke with male kids.

Even with some women generally, there is this feeling of satisfaction having both sex.

Told my Dr and a social worker was involved, na so ooo,her visa was cancelled and she returned to naija. Four years now, she is begging to visit again. 15. I can only hope that all African men come to realise that they determine the sex of a baby and not their wives. Some women will be pregnant and are so full of fear of the sex of the baby because their husband's has told them it must be a boy. God help us

  16. In this age even though a good number of men realize this fact, they still choose to blame the woman, As if by carrying the baby she has the power to perform a wonder miracle and convert the baby's sex in her womb.

  21. It's true that the sex of the baby depends on the chromosomes of the man,it is also true that women download what was uploaded..lol..But women should also know when and how to have sex as science has proven. The Y chromosome isn't as viable as the X chromosome so women should know that having sex atleast a day to ovulation could improve the chance of having a boy.You want a boy,try as much as possible to have sex during that time or during ovulation..*smiles*

    1. Thank u for this comment . I am a woman but I must say that men and women both contributes in choosing d sex of there baby.most women with scratching vagina will never wait till there ovulation bfr having sex fr a baby boy. How do u expect to hv a baby boy wen u met our husband days to us ovulation, and u want me to blame d man for ur itching vagina. If u hv sex a day or on ur ovulation day, there r 90% chances of u having a baby boy. If it didn't happen,I think that's wen u hv to blame d cos cos his x chromosome might be weak. Pls u r trying for a baby boy and u hv sex days to our ovulation, kuku don't blame ur husband.

    3. You are an idiotic fool. Not only are you ignorant of what your saying, you also emit it in a stupid way.! What has scratchy vagina, got to do with ovulation and sex determination .talk about the viability of the Y chromosome as against the x. God!!! Man you need a brain transplant .

  22. Dis issue is overflogged....men would always blame women for almost anything non palatable happening in the home....there is a man who retired from nnpc with 5 girls....looking for a 2nd wife dat wil give him a boy!....d 2nd wife ended up with twin girls

  23. It's not easy o especially if your hubby is Igbo. Mumsie had 5 girls at a stretch before a boy came. Out in the Uk few people raised eyebrows. 5 was too many already. Then another boy followed but the humiliation my parents passed through was heart wrenching. My Mum was called Mummy Girls Guide, Mummy Girls Camp. By the time we came home there were 8 of us, 6 girls and 2 boys though the first 3 stayed back to finish their free education. Before then I recall an immigration officer asking if Mumsie was on a school excursion to a certain place, we were at the airport with our travel bags heading to a holiday spot, no one believed it was one family. Just because of looking for male kids, we ended up 10. Ten long kids.

I remember all Mumsie gists of how Popsie used to discuss in low tones with our Mum how the men ridiculed him in the family meeting whenever he came to Nigeria or he visited family members. My sisters will eavesdrop and be crying. His family advised him to marry a second wife and keep her in Nigeria, somewhere in the east, thank God for love and commitment. Years after a boy came then another and the comments changed to "nwoke di mkpa, nwoke no be gi". Too many side comments. Thank God for wherewithal to see us through quality life. If not eeh.

Let me not add how I bore a boy and two girls and 3 years after story turned to "I want another son". I cried like no other, my MIL smoked my ass for 2 years till I succumbed only for Doctor to announce it's a boy on the way but LO and Behold there's a girl coming with him. Hahahaha. 5 kids? In present day Nigeria? Hmmmm. Na God hand I dey.

Please you see that man in that picture? Pity him. He doesn't sleep deeply. The mental torture is ever present, pressure from people is another. May God shield and provide succor to any woman going through this.

    It is well.

  24. The only sensible comment here, yes, u want a baby boy, then have sex a day to ovulation or during ovulation then forget about sex for sometime so that the woman's chromosome from her egg will meet the man's Y chromosome. It's as simple as that. I plan all my pregnancies, I have a girl first, second is a boy, third a girl and my last will be a boy because it's going to be planned.

    2. Girl you were just lucky it's not because of being planned. The surest way is to do I've gender selection like I did. Had two girls and a boy . Don't want more than three kids and can't afford a guessing game.

  28. My Mum is a living witness. Had Six girls and marriage was at a verge of breaking up. She sought help, met a Rev. Father who linked her to Rev. sisters who are medical doctors. she studied gender selection so well. She tried again and had two boys, we lost one she tried yet again another male Child.
Now she's helping women where she reside on gender selection especially for male kids. She has birthed over 100 male babies.

Am a living proof that gender selection works.

So women who are in such shoes should seek help and not shy to open up.

    Thank you.
