      Morning ibukun. Sorry dear. When you loosen it, tryna stop braid 4 nw. Do more of fixing with didii underneath it helps the hair grow, mix shear butter & coconut oil to rub the front line often. Be patient, with time it'll grow

    Beautiful morning all

    I need sincere advice on some personal stuff which took place ysrtd

    I decided we (kids and I) go visit hubby's younger sister(his mum's only daughter).I told him n he was ok.
    .

    We got there past 9am n by 4pm,i decided to tk my leave.

    My people dts where problem started. My daughter refused to leave. She was obviously enjoying her visit and her aunt was really spoiling them(she has 3kids too and 1 is same age as my girl).He hubby works outside d country.My daughter said I should go home dt she's not going.

    My SIL had to tell me to leave her dt she will bring her personally .

    My girl obviously,was so excited on hearing dt even after i used all d signs n signals I knw to talk to her. She just removed her face.

    I had no choice than to leave her.

    My SIL asked me to drive her down to a petrol station (thinking she wanted to see someone or buy something) this woman bought me fuel dt almost filled my tank.

    Immediately I dropped her off,i called hubby dt his girl won't be coming home.

    That was when all hell broke loose.

    This guy was ranting and chanting. Actually shouting dt y on earth should I leave her,dt I should mk sure I bring her. I told him I left already . He said I would hv forced her

    I tried explaining dt there's no way bcx his sister would feel somehow moreover,this is our 1st visit ds yr n I visited only once last yr.

    Hubby said I would have called him while still there so he would talk sense into her(my dota). Or I would hv told his sister dt he doesn't allow his kids sleep out.

    Mind u,these kids spend most time(all holidays) with my mum .They dnt go on holidays or sleep over any aunt/uncles house apart frm my mum's.

    I got home and he insisted I go bring her today. What do I do now? He's being carrying face since ysrtd.

    this woman came for omugwo when I had my son (since their mum is late). She left her kids in d hands of her 17yr old dota who then,was 14yrs.

    She's been an awesome in-law and i have never had any altercation with her for d past 10yrs I've been married to them.not even for once  Whenever she buys me a present,she buys d other 2wives . She's really playing d role of a MIL though hubby is d eldest but d way he is taking d whole issue is crazy.

    To d best if my knowledge,they are in good terms. She's even a pastor and to me,i dnt see y dh is ranting. He doesn't even want to talk abt it.

    So that's it. I hv decided to just leave her till her aunt brings her. should i ignore my man for now ? Or go bring her

    What do u guys think? My dota will be 9 next month so she isn't a baby per say.

      My kids left with two of their daddies' elder sisters at 6:30am this morning on a road trip for some days. The childminder has gone with them so we don't get apprehensive over nothing. WE planned the trip together.

      Relationships between siblings run deeper than what u can see,respect your hubby and make up a story for your SIL that your daughter has to attend an important event with her dad then tell him what u've done so when she calls him,u can be on the same page then he can directly demand that his be brought home

      Victorious, please go and get your daughter. Look for a good excuse and get her back home for peace to reign. Tell your inlaw you totally forgot she had a doctor's appointment or something.
      Be diplomatic.

      I don't blame your hubby much. Some men are very sensitive and guarded as it concerns their kid.
      He knows his reason. Men hardly tell you the content of their heart in entirety.

      My husband will never as in never allow his kids on hols at anyone's home all by themselves except I am going to be staying there with them too.
      So, do the needful and don't let this cause issues.

      And when you get your daughter back home, you really need to caution and discipline her.
      At 9, she can't hid to your signals? That's bad.

    I just finished watching Lagos husbands and mehn, it was a wack ending. I mean how come oma who was just 4 months pregnant and not showing, gave birth before isioma who was already heavily pregnant from the beginning of season 3 . Or how did esohe who wasn't pregnant till almost end of the season become so heavily pregnant by the ending and isioma was still pregnant. Her water only broke at the very end.. What a wawuuu

    Nigerian should learn how to pay attention to little details in movies. Her series are great. Really great but needs attention and focus..
    BTW, with this kind of ending, hope there is a season 4. Also now we don't know how the case ended. We just saw rukkie running.. Mtchewww.

      Oh dear! They cn use latex condoms but the problem will be if they decide to get married and want to try for a baby. Her partner should tell her when symptoms flare up, which is when the virus is most contagious. Then she can avoid sex when he has symptoms.
      Herpes is for life so that's going to be something they need to talk about seriously before any commitment.

      Chikito the herpes should not be the only problem your friend should worry about. Let her insist the guy goes for other screening (HIV,hbv,syphilis etc) after all the screening then they should use CD..

    Today marks another year to my years.... What can I say?

    I can only pen down words to gratitude to God to show how grateful I am. God has been faithful, he has loved even when I don't love myself, he has favoured me mightily and has kept on building me for tomorrow.
    Each step I have taken since I was born has been a deliberate act of God. The years of emotional trauma, depression, confusion, hard work, stress has only been God building me.
    I never realised this till this year. This year has been the greatest year of my years so far. He took out this year to teach me deeply, to answer questions no one had answer to and to expose me to deep things of the future.
    I have been learning, unlearning and relearning.
    God am grateful, for every single thing that I have experienced because they are steps to the greater future.
    I may not have enough, I may not have all I need but am so much satisfied with the little you have given to me.
    You have given me a great gift, I may not see the use no but I believe you gave it to me for something. The gift of "Joy and wealth of mind"
    Am so happy, grateful and thankful.

    Happy Birthday to me and all April born. We are great, we are mighty and we are conquerors.
    I will only ask God to give us a stronger back to shoulder all life challenges and more healthy life to us.

    In other news, does anyone find it difficult to shop in lagos? Its either stuff are just ugly, not my style (which means razz) or too pricey when you convert to foreign currency and you know you can get more value at that price.     So yesterday evening, I decided to take myself out but before then, I had to go to area 3 to send a parcel to Kaduna.
    Well, while waiting for the driver, I noticed a girl, pretty in her 20s sitting by my side, eyes visibly swollen from crying perhaps. I tried to ignore her and mind my business but after few minutes I was compelled to ask what was wrong (Very unlike me sha). At first she was like I'm Fine, it's nothing but I probed further and she opened up saying she's been dating her bf for almost a year now, he stays here in Abuja and she's been calling him for 4days, no response so she travelled all the way from Jos with her last money only to get to his place to find him with another girl and he her out of the house. Even after pleading and crying she was stranded with no where to go and no money, bobo didn't answer. Well with no where else to go, she had to come back to the park maybe she could get help but the few people she could muster the courage to ask seemed not to have. At this point I was beginning to chide myself why I didn't mind my business, Lol... Cos I know there was no way I was gonna leave her in that state meaning no more outing for me... Long story short, I gave her Tfare back to Jos and I hope she doesn't forgive that scumbag and goes back to him.

    This is me calling out Nigerian men. What do you people want? mtchew
