ReplyDeleteWhen he got there,he said his sister was like, bros u come tk her? haba so she no fit even grt me for 2/3 days? This is her 1st time n una no even let her . If iye(mum) were to b alive u pple wont allow her go visit even for weekend?
Hubby said he became weak. He said his sister pleaded wt him dt she will bring her personally.He said he had no choice than to leave her.
(He didn't shout or gt provoked wt himself for not forcing her o,men, na wa for una)
Next day being Wednesday, a call came thru n it was MIL's last child. Apparently,he stopped by her house n saw my girl. Obviously,he was surprised . He put her thru n I playfully asked when she would like to come, she said "Mummy on Sunday"
I didn't knw wen I lost it n shouted at her. Her uncle had to collect d phone (I guess it was on speaker).
I told him she had an unfinished holiday assignment( I decided not to tell SIL bcx she might sense it's a trick). He then said he'll make sure she comes d next day.(Thursday).
Towards evening onThursday,SIL called to knw my whereabout dt she's sending her daughter to bring mine(dnt knw how last born did it). I told her to meet me up at my mum's.
Less than 45mns,her daughter was there with my girl. With a big bag
I was kinda surprised bcx I didn't leave anybag while leaving.
When I checked,i found out she went shopping for my daughter. Clothes,shoes, sandals even for my son who wasn't there.
She didn't stop at that,she also bought beverages ,bread and even gave her money.
I was just dumbfounded.
Immediately,my mum called to appreciate her and she was like,mummy it's my child I did it for nao.
My mum went in and also gave SIL's daughter a nice pair of flat shoe. Then I gave her t.fare.
After some mints,i called to also show my appreciation and she was like,y are we embarrassing her wt appreciation? dt as she is their(hubby n siblings) mum, so hubby is their dad.(they are orphans now)
Not long, (I guess after her daughter got home n showed her d shoe) she also called to appreciate then I was now like
Aunty y u de thank me nao,u self de embarrass me wt ur appreciation now
We both burst into laughter n that was it.
I'm blessed to hv her as a SIL(na only she be girl wen MIL get wt 4men)
After all said n done,i face my girl
She said she didn't understand my "face talk/ eye signal" n I believed her
But for disobeying me wen I asked us to leave,she won't be attending d birthday party her n her brother were invited to on Sunday . I will take only d boy n drop her off at my mum's. Hope d punishment is worth it ?
Thanks guys for d advice. Patience n wisdom is really needed in marriages o. If I had acted foolishly,i would hv lost out n they(SIL n hubby) would hv still settled.

I acted as if e no pain me ..but on my way home, I was thinking about the incident and I believe in karma...I know dat one day me and dat guy will meet again and I'll be in d position to help him and I will not help me.I've noticed dat God hears my prayers especially when I cry and talk to him. He made me cry, he will never know peace cos its not like he was not in d position to help...infact he was a colonel.

I just found out just now that my dog (ekuke) is gone. Not like it died but cos one never do well omo onile that will never amount to anything in this life took it.

When we newly moved into the area (about 8 years ago), we bought a dog for security purposes since we didn't have a fence yet.
Then shortly after, one omo onile with uncompleted house very close to mine bought some dogs, left them in the uncompleted building and went away, never checking up on them and never giving them food. They would cry every morning, afternoon and night and my mum being the woman she is took pity on them and would always take food and water to them. Sometimes, I would do same or my siblings would just so these two dogs will have food to eat.
Eventually the dogs started coming to our house to eat with our own dog and my mum would gladly feed 3 of them (trust me no be small food, cos it's hardly left overs but food dished for them separately). The dogs got attached to us and started living with us. The idiot was very much aware and even thanked my mum for taking care of these dogs.
Roughly 18 months later, the omo onile packed into his now completed house and then maybe cos he felt we deserved it, he took one of his dogs, bought some others and left one for us.
We didn't ask him for the dog, we didn't beg him for the dog. He just left it for us.
Less than a month later, probably from malnutrition, the one he took from us died.
So as this our dog kept growing, once it gives birth, this fool of a man will come take like two puppies like we were helping him to rear dogs and those puppies will end up still dying.
Then he started demanding and demanding and now started threatening my mum (he's very diabolical). Recently, he told my mum that if she loves her life, he will release the only surviving puppy the dog had presently.
My mum being the type of no wahala woman told him she's tired of his shenanigans and he then laid claim on this dog. This is the dog we've taken care of for about 7 years. I told my mum not to return the dog to him as he's got no right over that dog. Dog that would have died in less than a month if he had taken it.
I just found out this morning that he took the dog, and even sold it to be killed and probably has been killed.
Told my mum I would confront him and went to my room, locked myself in cos I didnt want them to see me crying. She's been banging my door and begging me not to confront him
I dunno what to do. This is a dog that I've been telling anyone that keeps saying they want to buy to eat that it's a part of the family and when it grows old and die, we will bury him with party.
I'm so confused and so pissed
