    1. Yes wise one, he was. He was actually advising singles to beware of partners they settle down with. Those who hears, those who understand how elders talk, let them hear

  7. I do not think Pastor Adeboye has time to engage on frivolities.

  8. Actually, the reverse is the case. If you found your hubby on SM you are likely to share him with sidechicks there... if your hubby is very social media active, chances are he is sending DMs to hot chicks.

Balderdash. If the he did say this, then he's guilty of judging, and guilty of ignorance. Judging because the statement insinuates that no good women are on FB, ignorance because there are literally thousands of successful relationships waxing strong that began on Facebook. One of the most decent brilliant and beautiful girls I've ever met was on Facebook. We dated but her parents insisted on same tribe marriage.

Kanyinsola, you're one in a million. I wish I had pushed more, fought harder, prayed more.

  14. Nonsense talk, people should just stop talking about things they don't know about.
There are 1.86 billion monthly active users on Facebook. World population right now is 7.5 billion.
More than 16 million Nigerians sign in to Facebook every month from Nigeria alone. 7.2 million log in daily. Out of all these people so there isn't one good woman to get married to.
So what the hell is this man talking about.

  15. Love can be found anywhere. The end justifies the means.

  16. What really annoys me about these people is they always discriminate against women and bring women down. Why couldn't he say "If you get your husband through Facebook, you will lose him through Youtube". Why do they keep emphasizing on women and not men. It's just a shame and very irresponsible of these men of God to keep talking negative about women and not making men more responsible for their actions in life.

  22. Sadly, there is some truth in what he is saying. If you met your spouse on social media and he or she is very social media active, there is a high chance they'd meet another person or cheat on you with another person on social media. Most people who are very social media active have the tendency to cheat. Only a few percentage of them who God guides onto the straight path dont engage in that. Why do you think that cheating has increased tremendously in recent times? Bcoz more people are becoming very social media active. The advent of social media now makes it easier to cheat. If I want 4 girls to visit me today, all I've gotta do is Google SDK single mingle or dm them on BBM/IG/ Whatsapp and they'll come running. No stress

  23. Actually he said it this morning . I watched his message on dove channel, he even gave the Yoruba interpretation of it

  24. First, are they certain he said this?
Second, he's a man of God but he's also human. He's off a different generation and will think like folks from that generation. Many of us have grandparents, parents, uncles & aunties thinking same way. So chill.
And finally, in what context did he say that?

  25. It's amazing how people don't use their brains these days.....pastor adeboye is not a fool or an illiterate to just make a statement like that without reason.....in what context did he say this? Let's hear the full context of this statement

  26. Daddy Adeboye can't say such a thing
