    1. The blame should be channeled at blocked head like yours who fail to realize that the problem goes back in time to previous government who have failed to plan for maintenance, growth in population, growth in infrastructure, improvement in technology....just like your obsolete brain that can function well in this time and age.

    3. The day Nigeria will have uninterrupted power supply for days, will be a day of celebration. I even heard Ghana has uninterrupted power and it is Nigeria that supply them.

If they give us light we"l gladly pay our bills, but they have chosen to meet their target than giving light...

  15. Before a power off in Cameroon, there is usually a radio announcement stating how long the blackout will last. It's that fantastic, I spent 20 years there

  16. LMAO @ big name de kill small dog.
    He is right though.
Ordinary cotonou sef is more organised than Nigeria.
Their roads are good, heavy duty trucks don't ply roads during certain hours of the day etc.
Nigerian govt had better sit up

    1. Na town you pass or stay, that's why you can say that. I spent a week there and it was 2 hours off every day. The place I am talking about, Agbado village is 1 million better than that place. Houses built with zinc and pako, untarred Roads filled with sand. Kitchen and toilet built together in a self contained apartment, you even have to use side ways to get to the bathroom. Make una dey talk lie small, small.

  19. Comparing Cameroon with Nigeria is an insult to Cameroon. As at 1999 when my mum went for a workshop in Cameroon, GSM was what we only just achieved. I went there in 2010, to Limbe precisely. All I could say was wow. The development there is crazy. Paul Diya although a dictator, is actually working.

  23. It is too late to correct the err. Nigeria infrastructure came up without an adequate plan. Too many buildings in some locations, everyone tapping into 2/3 lines not knowing they were killing the electricity by the load. Go to Okoya estate (oluwa lo ni) and most estates behind chevron, and see no power outage!
1.They have their own plant which is in direct proportion with the population in the estate.
2.They continue to pay higher charges per kWh compared to what you pay.
3.They are law abiding residents, you can't go tapping or avoid paying your bills.

  24. As in ehn..very bad oo. I think the light situation in Abeokuta is the worse. It's really bad considering the billions that have been allocated to the power sector in Nigeria over the years. Lai Mohammed will open his mouth and be asking BBNaija why they took their programme to South Africa..The Voice will start auditions soon and I won't be surprised if they take it to South Africa again. Producers are moving out to shoot and you guys will be there and be shouting foreign reserve is low. Why won't it be low when even companies are moving out and things that will bring money to the country is being taken outside. How can light still be an issue in 2017?

  30. I think government privatized the power sector so as to improve the performance of that sector but the reverse is the case here as both the Genco and Disco are crying blue murder because of the huge sum that runs into billions that consumers owned them. But that's not an excuse for their abysmal performance. This sector need an overhauling from top to bottom.
