  3. I read "There Was a Country" by Chinua Achebe couple of weeks ago and I am about to read Obasanjo's version. The Nigeria/Biafra isn't being taught properly at Nigerian schools. Foreigners know more details than Nigerian. I actually got these books from a borough library in NYC

  4. So TY Danjuma an Hausa man created and help preserve Igbo history and museum because they couldn't do it themselves. Thank God for other tribes constantly helping Igbos to thrive.

    1. Idiot somebody like you, how could the igbos establish a museum when they lost the war??? TY Danjuma was in the ruling class and that's why his suggestion was honored. Ironically Yugoslavia that he visited didn't remain "one" like y'all wants Nigeria to remain one. Of what need is being one is to us when we have tried for 50yrs + and it ain't working.

    2. Okoro Awusa, did you watch the clip?
Did you see Biafra ingeniousness, remember that was in the 60s ,and what Gowon could do was to build brick walls,we are talking of high techs, mobile Radio, rockets ,armoured tanks, refineries, remember again all done in the 60s,if someone can build all these in the 60s ,what do you think,he will be able to do in this millennium, I am sure you are limited in reasoning ,for your information building of brick walls is not classified as achievement in Biafra Land ,visit Awada and see wonders ahahahahahahah. We are Umuchineke,we have gone past that.

We seek for Biafra so that we can show the world what we can do.

  6. An agitation for self actualisation does not mean or connote a war. Other states including underdogs like southern Sudan have carried out referendums that led to the libration of such states. The reason why we have statements such as these is because Nigeria is an animal farm where some animals are more equal than others. According to UN self actualisation is a right of any group who seek such so I see no reason why someone who couldn't make as much as two passes during his WASSCE ( because last time I checked, two passes is what qualifies one to be entitled to a waec certificate) would open his mouth to say such can never happen under his administration. With the injustice, corruption and evil in this country, who would want to be associated with this embarrassment called the giant of africa? Abeggi, anybody wey wan waka leave naija make e go. This zoo called Nigeria no be by force and its only a place like this that people feel self actualisation is tantamount to warfare.

  8. What nonsense is this? Stella pls, inasmuch as no one luvs war,n we are not all clamouring for biafra. we will also not forget the past. The massive genocide, killing of millions of ibos , the starvation, the cutting of the breasts n disembowelling of breastfeeding mother's n pregnant women. The civil war serves as a reminder of mans inhumanity to man N wickedness. So pls don't insinuate on is must forgive n forget about biafra. Mind u None of the perpetrators of this genocide was charged for war crimes. Even the holocaust of the Jews in 2nd world war is well documented, celebrated and commemorated. N u know why? So history doesn't repeat itself. So its never forgotten.#Never forget.

  9. I'm thoroughly pissed with this propaganda museum n video! What rubbish? The biafra was declared because of the massive genocide! The ibos were very peaceful ppl n were the elites, they never clamored for war. The war was brought to us, via massive genocide!a particular Hausa general asked gowon to give him 48 hrs to wipe out the Ibo tribe from the face of the earth. Pls if u are daft, uneducated, or uninformed don't even bother commenting on this post.

  11. You don't know the history of the war Igbos started and waged against Nigeria @ Dr Chy!
Go and do research to get the truth of how the war started and not the lies your older generation fed you.

    1. The immediate causes of the war were millitary coup, a counter coup, persecution and brutal killings of the ibos in the north ie genocide/ethnic cleansing, and control of oil in the Niger delta. Google is your friend.

    2. Dr Chy is just talking shit. Go ask your parents how the war dey start.
If your both grand parents are still living I suggest you ask them

You call Nigeria Zoo,yet you are bearing Their Passport.
You curse the Land that you're living in and yet you want to flourish, pray tell me how that is possible?
Do I like how things are going now? No. But is biafra the answer?? HELL NO!!!!!!!!

    1. They bear the passport because the refuse to let them go ok. The land is cursed that's why they want to leave. Nobody likes the way things are going. Besides it shows how important the igbo race is no wonder Nigeria don't want them to leave. What a blessed race.

  13. No one can stop this struggle, unless you are ready to kill everyone in Biafra Land, cause Biafra is a Spirit,is a tradition,is a religion,is a way of life ,it means freedom to black race, knowing who we are ignites passion to show the world what we can contribute to make the world a better place ,the truth is that one can't explore his potentials in Nigeria setting, can a bird fly while caged, mba nu,is not possible,is like asking the man whitout primary school certificate to play 90minute soccer game, where will he get the energy from.Bifrans can't thrive in this setting ,we can't get the needed resources, encouragement, education, amenities, funds and mostly freedom to express it all.

No one understand us better than us.

Oyibos conspired against #Biafra because they want to keep black race in perpetual darkness, who tells you ,we can't supersede Oyibo man in technology and reasoning, who are they,do they have two heads?,different brains? ,the answer is no,but what they have that black man doesn't is conducive environment to excel, and that is what #Biafran is all about.

Nigeria can't give it to you.We have to give it to our selves.

    #FreedomtoBiafra

  14. Stella For the fact that you don't know your right doesn't mean other have no right or others will not excise their right. What do you mean by "Those clamouring for Biafra" It unfortunate that you Nigerians are so inferior that you all believe that your future are secured only with Igbos in one Nigeria.
