  3. Some people have no shame at all. Why don't you quietly do your wedding and go on about your business. They just wanna smear it all over the other lady's face. Let me not start with this pre-wedding nonsense photo shoot; very tacky and stupid thing.
Till today, no one on my Facebook except my family members and very close friends knows that I'm married. Some of them still ask ' why is a fine girl like you still single?'

    11. Darling, I'm all for doing you and if you want the celebration of your marriage on the down-low, by all means do you. However, hiding the fact that you're married reeks of mischief. With due respect to you, not wanting to disclose your marital status or condoning being mistaken for a single lady while indeed you're married is very unhealthy, even spiritually. A lot of people forget that marriage is actually more of a spiritual union than a physical union.‎

It's hilarious that you should criticise a couple for choosing to celebrate their union, citing your "style" as the preferred option, while your "style" is as awkward as they come. Hide all the preambles and pre-celebrations or the actual celebration, if you are so inclined but once you are MARRIED...why shroud your status in secrecy?‎

"Protecting" your spouse from the public is one thing, but hiding your marital status is pretty weird. Most people who do so are either not properly married or married to partners with some "encumbrances". But... Hey! what do I know, right? Perhaps you haven't considered the implications.

  10. I've been waiting for you to post this Stella 😩. Chai this is really heartbreaking oh. Cannot imagine how the first wife is feeling. With all this happening he should think of how that woman feels and especially how his children will feel looking at all this later on in life. They are going to see all this messiness on the internet.

  12. Ahmed musa what about your baby mama? The child you have refused to accept. She would be 2yrs in few months. God is watching heartless man. You asked your babymama to give you the child so you take to your mum for her to take care, she refused you denied her. Your friend mompha has been the one supportive to your baby mama and your child. Take up your responsibilities or few weeks to your wedding we will release the pictures and the messages.

    2. Thanks Steph, our so called Christians are shameless greedy bastard! Very rare for a Muslim girl to forfeit her religion cos of money or marriage. Juliet I know you are here,be guided.

    3. @pastor's daughter, my mom is a Muslim but she married my dad who is a staunch practising catholic. Likewise I have also met a Muslim lady who renounced her religion and took up the catholic faith. She was baptised, received communion and got confirmed and finally changed her name to "Maria-Goretti".
      Though, these instances are rare.

  17. True i wonder why our Christian girls will marry a Muslim when a Muslim girl will never do otherwise. In Kano here as a Christian guy you dare not talk to their Muslim girls its not possible except like those liberal ones you meet in school.

  18. So many dumb, daft and sentimental comments on this issue.
First of all the man in question is a practicing Muslim. The lady was well aware of this before she married him. Besides, her name sounds like an Islamic name so she must be a Muslim as well. Then why leave your marriage when the man is exercising his right as given in the holy book and in tradition?

She nor know before she enter?

  19. Bv that wants to revert to maiden name, pls just go to any court or Notre public to get an affidavit stating your former names and your current name. Then contact Mrs Okereke on 08035719658 for change of name publication in a reputable Nigerian newspaper.

  20. Stupid Ahmed Musa, because of you Ranieri was sacked, instead of you to think how to advance in your career you are taking a 2nd wife. You now have a permanent spot on your team's bench.Typical black man.Se iyen lo kan ninu aye e?alainiironu ara Galatia. As for the lady & her likes that makes it an habit to bash northern muslims for their way of life,I know she must have at one time or the other called these people she's marrying into their midst names just like a lot of ignoramuses that abound on this blog who see no good in other people's cultures.Conscienceless goats who will sell their souls for a life of temporary pleasure. Now money don involve story don change.....So much for when money talks bullshit walks.

  22. Sentiments aside, some people do better the second time around. Who knows all the facts? Besides, if and when karma comes knocking, it may not come in a recognisable garb. That's the mistake a lot of people make, they assume a "home wrecker" ‎'s home will also be wrecked by her "comrade in arms" but that's not always this case. Another point often overlooked in such cases is, it takes at least two people to wreck a home. Why do people tend to remind the lady moving into another lady's turf, about karma, forgetting the man who welcomed the new lady in? Or is Karma now a respecter of gender?

I believe in cause and effect, if you deliberately cause a fellow human being grief, you'll get what's coming to you but there is no precise pattern, especially when it comes to love and marriage. If a man kicks his wife out of their matrimonial home and brings in another, whether as a wife or a lover, the husband's betrayal far outweighs that of the "replacement". So, shouldn't the man be  cautioned as well? After all he played a major role. No woman can come into a matrimonial home if the husband doesn't welcome her in.‎ A lot of men marry 2nd wives and see no need for a 3rd. It's unfortunate but polygamy is an acceptable form of marriage in Nigeria. Generally, women are a handful. A wise man should stick to one, but what do I know, right?

As for the couple up there, I don't know the narrative ‎but I wish all parties concerned, the ex wife included, peace and happiness. Marriage is way too intrinsic to be stuck with the wrong person. However, in the pursuit of happiness, be mindful of one another's feelings.

May God rest your peaceful soul, Oluyomi‎.
