Finance Minister Kemi Adeosun's Hubby Niyi Is A Husband To Die For...

He stays at home to babysit their children?WOW...I love men like that who support their wife's hustle!!!

Niyi is the husband of Nigeria’s Minister of Finance and among other things, he illumines her world with the bliss and charm of a fairy god. Kemi loves to think of him as her personal genie, heaven’s best gift to her since she got married.

Kemi feels blessed and extremely lucky because her husband, Niyi, makes it too easy for her to be a public figure. While the finance minister goes about her work, her beloved husband chooses to play house husband, baby-sitting their three children who live in London. Niyi who used to be a banker, is the only one who ‘babysits’ their children in London because of his wife’s busy schedule.

However, if Niyi is not in London, he would be at the Ikoyi Club playing squash and generally having fun with people who want one favour or the other from his wife. Kemi is no doubt a lucky woman, unlike too many of her peers who dissipate much of their energy doing public work with no one to support them at the home front.

    1. Babes he's got work. Taking care of kids is a serious work enough, not just for a woman also for a man who choses to make the sacrifice.

She gives him pocket money every month for clothing and feeding.
      He should be very proud.

  4. I don't see what the celebration is in a man taking care of his "kids".
Anyway, this is Africa where little things like this are applauded.

    1. Niyi moved to Naija first, told kemi to stay in jand with the kids. When kemi heard awon opemititis stunners were hanging around her husband, she quickly got a job in Naija and moved back before getting her ogun state job and now ministerial job.

  21. Where the hubby ee pishure?
In Yankee many men do same especially if the wife's hustle is more profitable and stronger. It's always good for one parent to stay aground with the kids than both parents running here & there.
Good one Mr. Niyi for defying the African societal beliefs and do what's best for you & family.

  31. That is the British way.
Husbands take the backseat to support their wives.
The Queen of England, Margaret Thatcher, Teresa May, too many to mention.

    1. Yes oh! And none of those men r looser! They r all self made millionaires in their own right. Infact that's a European thing. Angela Merkel too has a husband, who is a highly successful scientist & professor. But they all support in any way & help their wife to shine on the highest level. Prince Phillip is known to be a tough father (very strict towards their sons when they were young) but also very loving & so intimately affectionate to his wife, Queen Elizabeth. The Queen openly she has done the service to her country very well only due to the kind of man she married. A friend, a supporter & backbone in public & in private life.

    2. Nigerians are used to the primitive way where the woman does everything. When they hear things like this, it sounds strange. They are accustomed to suffering.

  32. I know this man as a banker. So I don't understand this report.
Maybe he took some time off...... But he definitely isn't known as a lazy man waiting for the woman to bring home the bacon.
What's even ppls business if a couple decides one stays home. Do you know if he was the sole breadwinner at the start of the marriage.
    Funny article full of shade.

  33. This reminds me of when my fiance was on vacation and came to stay in my house. He would cook and clean the house before I got back from work. One day he told me he wouldn't mind being a house husband. That was the funniest thing he has ever said to me cos I knew how impossible it was for him to be that.House husband really sounds weird.

  34. Why do i feel this post is tainted with some sarcasm??

  35. He takes care of his children and that deserves an applause? Welcome to Nigeria abi should I say Africa. Watch this post go south and he gets tagged with a lot of degrading names. Must he have a 9-5 job for people to know that he works? A lot of people actually work from home and make millions biko nu all he needs is a laptop, his phone and Internet access simple! For their mind he's now a stay at home dad because he doesn't wear a suit and go to an office.
