Fatal Crash In Port Harcourt.

An accident happened yesterday evening around Odani before Akpajo junction, East/West road, Port Harcourt, Rivers State.



The driver was said to be collecting money from passengers while on while driving and lost control of the vehicle hitting 3 bystanders against a trailer parked by the roadside.




 One died on the spot and others sustained major injuries and fracture.
The Driver managed to disappear from the scene and he is still on the run.
One person died on the spot and the other two were rushed to an undisclosed hospital and their current status is unknown.

  1. Oh no😓 Rip. Its unfortunate that we have dangerous drivers who value money more than the lives of those in his vehicle. I hope he is traced and locked up. Running away from the scene means he's guilty somehow.

  2. I foresee incidents like this, that's why I hold on to my money till I'm ready to alight before paying.

    Highest I tell u say "na N500 or N200 I hold o" before entering.

    And when I haven't gotten to my destination but he keeps asking for my money, I tell him I'm sitting on it therefore can't get it at the moment.

    All in a bid to avoid distractions that are likely to cause accidents.

    And Stella, that place is an 'outskirt' of Port Harcourt. Pks thank me now.

  5. I witness the accident too. Is so unfortunate that the man that die did not have anything to identify him and he was left there on the floor for more than four hours (5pm), I don't know what happened afterwards, if the police later came for him. May God never allow us to end our journey half way in Jesus Name. Amen

  6. The police later picked up his body and the driver is still on the run. May God protect us always.
