Ex-aviation minister, Borisade dies at 71

A two time minister of of the federal Republic of Nigeria, Prof Abraham Babalola Borisade is dead.




He died at 71, a statement by a member of the family, Olamide Borisade, confirmed on Wednesday.

The statement was, however, silent on where he died or the nature of the illness that killed the former minister, who hailed from Usi Ekiti, in Ido Osi local government of the state.

Borisade was a former minister of education and aviation.

A rare gem is gone, rest on till we meet to part no more, i was shocked when i heard news, no matter how big your problem is, Prof.Borishade wld alwys find a way to help you out, you will always be remembered for the legacies you left behind, those you employed in the aviation sector, agriculture sector, education sector will always speak well of you sir, my condolences to your darling wife, Aunty Ireti. Usi Ekiti will never forget you uncle Lola, Rip. so sad

  8. This man was a wicked man as Minister of Education...the universities were shut for more than a year....During his tenure as Minister of Aviation....the country witness the high aeroplane crashes...
