He died at 71, a statement by a member of the family, Olamide Borisade, confirmed on Wednesday.
The statement was, however, silent on where he died or the nature of the illness that killed the former minister, who hailed from Usi Ekiti, in Ido Osi local government of the state.
Borisade was a former minister of education and aviation.
May his soul rest in peace.
