Word For The Day -LIVE ORDERLY!

When Jesus was about to feed the multitude, He told His disciples, "Let them seat in groups! For God to bless you, you must have an orderly life!

Mark 6:38-40
38)But He said to them, "how many loaves do you have? go and see." And when they found out, they said "five, and two fish."
39)Then He commanded them to make them all sit down in groups on the green grass.
40)So THEY SAT DOWN IN RANKS, IN HUNDREDS and in FIFTIES.

I will exegete the text to enable me extrapolate a few things into the context of today's discuss.

The message today is one in which if applied to your life and judiciously practised will transform your life for the better!
It doesn't matter how old you are, your sex or where you come from, if you must receive from God, then you must apply His principles.

God does not operate in a chaotic environment. Also, God does not do great things with disorderly people!

Too many people are praying for financial miracles, breakthroughs and open doors, but they are not willing to apply the DISCIPLINE, the PRINCIPLE and COMMITMENT which precedes a great life! You cannot arrive at your required destination travelling on a wrong direction.

The prerequisite to a meaningful life is orderliness. Some people's lives are just too chaotic, too disorganised to be blessed!

How on earth will a N70,000 salary earner buy a phone of N250,000, and still expect God to increase his finances. You are already performing magic. And God's miracle does not work for magicians!

Someone needs to talk to this funny generation that wants luxury living and are not willing to sacrifice anything for what they want! In life, there is seed time and harvest time. You cannot eat your seed and expect a harvest. You can't trick nature. You can't live above your means and expect to have a great life in future.

Jacob worked seven years to marry Rachel, but at the end of seven years, he was tricked into having Leah instead.
So Leah looked like a consolation price.
Have you ever been in a relationship that you weren't loved? It is frustrating. You work extra hard to please your partner.
Leah was not as beautiful as Rachel. And to wrap it up, Leah had what in today's world is referred to as 'half past four' eyes.
So, here we have a woman with low self esteem, married to a man that did not want her.

But don't you laugh at Leah, Because God has an amazing way of giving everybody something. You may not be pretty enough, you may not be tall and handsome enough, but God has a way of making you the solution to a certain problem that will make you inevitably loved! While Rachel was trying to conceive, Leah(The unloved wife) kept having children. And to wrap it up, God blessed her with Judah(the Child, who's tribe produced great king David, and Jesus(our Great King)!

The bible says that when the Lord saw that she was hated, He opened up her womb. Oh my God. I love how God operates. I love how God sometimes decides to bless unloved people to prove to haters that BEING BLESSED DOES NOT DEPEND ON HOW MUCH PEOPLE LIKE OR LOVE YOU!

Stop trying to seek societal validation. I see how people try to join the crowd. They try too hard to fit in. You cannot be a friend of God and at the same time be a friend of the world.

If you go on instagram, you will marvel!
Indecent dressing and semi-nudity has become our present day 'Normal!' In our modern day world, the camouflage, the false advertisement, the fake life is going overboard.

The irony is, the rich does everything possible to hide his riches for safety reasons, whereas the poor does everything possible to look rich.

There are two categories of people. The people who won't stop complaining about recession, and the people who do not even know or care if recession is still there or not!
Recession will not leave your household until you stop spending more than you earn!

When Jesus was about to feed the multitude, He told His disciples, "Let them seat in groups! For God to bless you, you must have an orderly life!

God is ever willing to bless you, but God will not bless a 'disorderly' you. Money is an amplifier, it brings out your true personality. If you are a disorderly person, money will amplify your disorderliness.

Plan your life. Work according to your plan. Discover your purpose, and be committed to a cause, and God will show up.
