Mothering Sunday 2017 is a few days away and your one-customer bank, Sterling Bank is set to help you make it extra special for your queen, your best friend and ultimately, the number ONE WOMAN in your life - your Mum!

The name of the game... #MySterlingMum

And please, don’t be shy. You know she’s worth showing off!

The 5 most compelling entries will get a N50,000 Verve gift card. There is a list of great gift items you can get with the voucher on the new ONE WOMAN website, something extra to wrap up her queen-ing experience.

    1. She had me against all odds, placed her life on hold so mine can develope and evolve... she earned a masters degree at age 40 so I can earn mine before 27... she remains the best amongst others. I love you, mother. Although I sometimes may not be of good behaviour, but that wont change the fact that I love you and after God,you reign supreme... may God spare your life in good health to reap the fruit of your labour.

  11. I was consistently in a class of 25 maintaining a position of between 22 and 25 till pry 4. My mum always told me i was better.one fateful day,she came to school that second term in pry 4 and was crying and pleading in my class. I was ashamed. She spoke with "uncle pry 4" as we call them then and went home.My seat was changed and i was called upon to answer questions before the rest of the class. That second term,my position was fifth. First term in pry 5, i was second. Imagine my name being called on the assembly and "me" receiving two hearty cheers. (Three for first, two for second and one for third.) My life changed that day and when i graduated with first class, she couldn't be more proud. My regret everyday is the fact that she did not stick around long enough to enjoy her labour. Thanks for being my mum and rest in peace.
