      I don't think lies have to do with love or not. I met a young guy in my work place. I was just indifferent about him. Somehow, we met again after office hours. He offered to drop me home. He introduced himself. He just relocated from another state. He told me he has a wife and 2 kids. A 4yr old and 6 months old. But he likes me. I was shocked. I told him I really like the fact he told me the truth but I can't be that kind of friend. He took it calmly and said: this is the problem with you ladies, you don't like hearing the truth. If he hadn't told me I never would have guessed because he looked so young.

    I'm all for the truth. My husband actually taught me to be truthful at all times. Lies bring a lot of distrust.

    If my husband tells me something, there's no need to verify. I believe every word and same too if I tell him. Though I feel guilty when I add small lies oh. My aim is to be as straight as a pin.

    My mum was telling me about a guy that called in to a radio show to ask for advice. He lives in America and his mum was on his neck to marry. He had to break up with his girlfriend because his mum was not digging the girl. He had to choose from the 5 people his mum showed him their pictures. The usual, the lady came over and turned to another thing. I felt no pity for him, he dumped someone for his mum's wish. Men or some men don't know what they want. They don't know a good girl even if you open the girl's heart for them to see. Why am I talking plenty sef? Why lie at all?

    A man once lied to me he wasn't married. I had gone to facebook to check him out, has a wife and 2kids based in US. I didn't even say anything, just kept my cool.
    On the second day I went to facebook to perhaps save the pics, he had wiped out all pictures of his wedding, wife and kids.
    To what end will someone do that, just for some pussy.
    In my opinion he doesn't love the wife or any other girl he lies to.
    Personally I think the guy is cursed.
    After telling him what I saw he still denied it.
    I can even take you denying your wife, but any man that denies his kids for some pussy is cursed. And I want nothing to do with such a person.

    I don't know if this is in line with the topic. My husband told me that all men cheat but if he loves you enough, you'll never find out. Cant remember what led to the conversation but since that day my trust in him has drastically reduced. To him he's being truthful but I can't help but wonder if he's trying to tell me that if he cheats I will never find out. Won't disturb myself with such worries but God help him the day I find out such!😈😈

    I've heard that a man lies to a woman he respects her feelings and blah blah. This is not entirely true. When it comes to lying, there are no fast rules. Love or not, a lot of people lie on their feet (Like thinking on their feet), that's impulsive liars. However, mostly in relationships people lie if they think you would never find out the truth, or aren't smart enough to decode the lie. Never say never ...a lie is a lie but the motive for the lie maybe different like, spontaneous (caught in the act),to have his way (manipulative),to prevent her feelings from being hurt by his misdeeds (protective),or plain habitual (so called pathological liars/antisocial personality). But some men learn from an early age(teenage years) that you get your way with women faster when you lie than if u tell the truth, in fact you are punished for honesty so,maladaptation occurs...if you expect to be lied to in your serious relationship, you will get what you expect but like the training we received as children, we felt safe to tell the truth at home even when it hurt ,so every woman should build her home with love,compassion,prayer, hope, forgiveness and willingness to adapt for these are the pillars that makes a man safe enough to be vulnerable with the truth no matter how heavy it may be
