    1. This one just wants to trend. If God didn't give the artist the strength and intelligence to succeed, who will recognise them? Mtchew....

  4. Acknowledging God is not a bad thing since we are a bunch of hypocritical Christians but artists should also remember to thank the people "fans" who go all out to support their art and work.
That's why award shows abroad are very interesting. You would hear them tall about their charity works, and since Trump won they've gone political and using their speech opportunities to touch on important issues.
Yes I agree with this person, we can do better.
Talk about rape, starvation, kidnapping and other social issues.

  8. I think this person needs his brain rewired. Like what's he expecting. Oh! So someone should walk up and say 'It can only be you oh Amadioha'.... For Christ sakes whoever is thanking God is grateful to the Creator for enabling him/her with such talent. And then go on to give his or her speech. It's only natural. Okay what do you say to footballers like Kaka who, whenever he scores a goal raises his hands to the sky.

  9. It's obvious this somebori does not believe in God. Cos the Bible made it clear we should thank God in all circumstances.

    So Oga park well.

  11. Whoever you are... Shut your gutter mouth and get LOST!

Everything we are and we have is all bcos of God! That the said person is alive to receive that Award is God! That he or she could act a role in that film to make it a success is all bcos of God!

    Without God, we are nothing!!!
So all thanks and praises should be given to Him and Him alone!
Oya go and hang if you don't agree with me... namsense

  16. Yes they can use the platform and talk about important issue or advocate for things but it doesn't give you the right to belittle the fact that they use the opportunity to thank their maker who made it possible for them to be alive to work, perform their acts etc. When you get your own award, you can use your time in the spotlight anyhow you want...thank the moon and the stars and positive energy join sef just don't rain on another person parade.

  17. This is the type of guy that gives credit to hardwork instead of God that giveth the good health. I don't blame him

  18. I thought of that too. Acknowledge God but let it be brief then say things to inspire upcoming ones

  23. I can't agree more with the guy. We are mostly a bunch of incompetents who, instead of planning properly, would rather call on God to come and right what we have deliberately messed up. A man who knows he is looting the office funds will, at a staff/ management meeting, call for prayers for God guidance in the management of the company!
    We are just hypocrites!!
