  2. A teenage granddaughter comes downstairs for her date with a see through blouse on and no undergarment. Her grandmother just pitched a fit, telling her not to dare go out like that!

The teenager tells her "Loosen up Grams. These are modern times. You got let your rosebuds show!" and out she goes.

The next day the teenager comes downstairs, and the grandmother is sitting here with no top on. The teenager wants to die.

She explains to her grandmother that she has friends coming over and that it is just not appropriate...

The grandmother says, "Loosen up, Sweetie. If you can show off your rosebuds, then I can display my hanging rose garden."

It'll be difficult for you to hide it now cos he already knows about it even if you move it another account, he'll keep asking what you used the money for.

    10. I understand ur plight my sis, because same thing is happening to my eldier sis,the little money she managed to save before NYSC the husband has used tricky ways of extracting it away from her, immediately she got married she gradually started forgetting her responsibility as a senior,my dad was sick then called my eldier sis husband for an assistant but he barely refused saying his parents are sick as well where as they aren't. That was how I lost my sweet dad and all this useless man could bring for the burial was 59k, was it nt same money he claim he wasn't having,my widow mom has being feeding from hand to mouth,no help, whenever I call my eldier sis to establish my mom all we hear its no money and we really dig into it and found out she really have no money but this man his husband has his own savings but whenever my sis receive salary, he has already pile up bills at home for her to pay so the money doesn't come home.my mom has cried her eyes out yet no help is forth coming.even as I type this I don't have hope of what to eat this morning, heaven is my witness with the kind of life we are living,we are still very young don't know what else or who to run to,so I somehow understand ur plight poster.some men are just devil incarnate, I don't really know how to explain this very issue but I know what am saying.that man doesn't take my family as his at all and my sis its not wise following him, but just following him and his instructions like a sheep. 11. Sorry about the whole issue. But I always say a lot of women just generalize issues of funds in marriage. Am a man and have been married for almost two decades and I have a wonderful wife that we both make money and do everything together. In marriage you should both identify you strength and weaknesses and use it to complement each other. You won't believe my wife has the alert for the joint accounts but only as to curb me from over spending atimes. We are both signatories to all accounts and everything is bought in Mr & Mrs. Cause we believe we are in this marriage for life. But most men and women these days just marry for financial gains and it's just a pity marriages pack up like business ventures forgetting lives are involved unlike business where it's only money involved. Just take it easy and make sure you use your savings wisely as I don't see your husband as a real supportive man. But also talk to him about it. Communication is key in marriage and information is vital.God help, bless and keep your home. Amen!

    12. Eyyah!!! Sorry madam. I have a million naira too wey I just keep for my account. I left my job cos it was killing me but I intend to start a biz soon and he s trying to raise the fund for me. We are getting married in few days. I don't intend to mention it to him.. Ayammmm broke is my national anthem.. Lol! A wife should help out in the house with little things too sha

      Delete
    13. Did you attend marriage class? Trust me! The advice you will get here are not going to be good. You don't bring your marriage issue to the Internet for people you don't know to start giving you advice. 80% of people here are single . So what advice are you expecting them to tell you? The only advice I will tell you is, do what is best for the family and stop thinking about yourself only. Your husband still bought you a phone, right? He wanted to surprise you. Yet you are not satisfied. I guess you are expecting him to get you a phone of N200,000, that was why you mention N30,000. Atleast! he is taking care of the bills in the house.

Hausa man will see pipe and call it "fife". When he see five naira he will call it pipe nira and Yoruba man will be laughing at him forgetting that Yoruba call three thousand "Tree thousuu" Eg :
IGBO: how much is this bag?
YORUBA : fu mi ni "Tree thousuu."
    IGBO: Three thousand?
YORUBA : Ah!! Omo Igbo Tree thousuu, Tree Tree Tree Tree oooo!!!!
If there want to buy Champion newspaper you will hear "elo ni SAMPION newspaper?
Chelsea FC will score Yoruba man will be like "Up Selsea, Selsea for life"
If you tell conductor "Charity owa" the message the drive will get is "Egbor Sarity owa ooo, Sarity bustop owa ooo"
If you going to Airport Road and you are not Yoruba or understand their language you will will sleep at the bustop because what you will be hearing is "Yaport Road wazo wazo, Yaport Road Yaport Road"

Some mentioned any form of body mutilation is barbaric.
Some say itss a nonsense practice based on religious background.
    Others even argued hygiene.
.....Well, it wasn't conclusive, but I've seen those dicks looking like gala or sausage with the coated wrap on, & i fancy mine just fine, i dunno about the feeling while the consumer snacks sha, but i see good results & a happy customer, maybe the customers with red lips or ketchup can help differentiate.

  18. Something happened yesterday that am still trying to wrap my head around. I stopped somewhere to get recharge card and after the woman in the shop attended to me I sat down to load and one well dressed man walked in asking for Mtn 1500.
I was still loading my card, but i kinda heard all their convo
The woman brought out mtn 1000k, and 400 I think and told the man she doesn't have one 1500k mtn and begged him to buy the one she has.

The cards are not sealed, more like the paper one that the digits are in the open and the man said make I see the one wey you get and this woman showed him the cards and after staring for some seconds, he just said ohhh na one 1500 own I want because I wan send am to person and he just murmured and left without buying .
Can y'all believe that man had crammed the digits and loaded the cards just after he left? I was still in the shop sitting when someone else came to buy cards and the woman gave the person the same card that the man that left refused to buy and Lo and behold the card was used up. Haha how na? The woman thought it was a joke and gave the person the second card she showed to the man that left and that one also was used up.
I was like yo man that man can cram for the gawds ? If he was wearing glasses I would have thought maybe there was a camera in it that he used to snap it and left, but this man had no glasses on and he never brought out his phone, but both the cards that the woman showed him earlier were used up.

Don't you all think that man is a genius? For him to have crammed the digits of the cards? I give it up to him man!

That was really lame and low of him though.

When the Bible said pray for your enemy, it didn't tell you the kind of prayers to do for them. The Bible made us to understand that we wrestle not against flesh and blood. But against principalities and powers. Against spiritual wickedness in high places. The Bible also told us to suffer not a witch to live. Learn to direct your prayers people.

Mother's are d only ones supposed to discipline kids????

Dh would hardly see anything wrong in what d kids are doing and dt makes me mad bcx I'm d only one talking and giving instruction they end up disobeying and I too end up vibrating.

My dad was like that too. Mum was D only disciplinarian in d house and dt made me loved my dad more then. Now I see my kids going closer their dad bcx "I talk too much"

Why are most naija men like this???

  37. I came in late for the chronicles yesterday

Look woman, stop looking for stipends. I'm sure you want help from the blog. That's why you emphasised so much on your rent. And then throwing the whole my husband wants to take away my children from me. Knowing this will make blog visitors start throwing cash your way..

    You have 2 options

    1. Give them to their father for now. Figure out yourself. Always visit them. When you are back on your feet, have shared custody with him

    2. Go back to your parents house with your kids and figure life from there

I saw you insulting people yesterday. Going up and down trash talking to those who would stop your antics from working

Let me ask you, since you are a stay at home wife, why didn't you move with your husband? Aren't there schools in Ibadan? So he was busy paying rent for 2 places and you think he wouldn't get tired?? You were a liability to him and he found someone who complimented him. I don't get why a wife will choose to be a house wife. Even house wife these days now do good business from home. I know am instagram have seller who have over 50k followers, she sells hair from home and is making it big time. But you sat down and did nothing.

And I'm sure he didn't marry you. I'm sure you are like a friend of mine who has decided to give birth to 2 children for a man who hasn't paid her dowry. Not only did she give birth to 2 children but also leaving with him. Dude treats her like trash. I have talked and talked but she won't listen, she will say their culture it's already like they are married. . Tomorow if he goes and marry someone else, I'm sure she will send this same chronicle you sent.

Don't use your children to make money. If you can't take care of them, give them to the father now and stand on your feet. It doesn't mean you abandoned them. I mean, he is there father also. He also brought them into the world. Go and figure your self out please. Don't be waiting for someone to send your 100k from the blog to pay your rent. Everyone is sending in their genuine story and it opened way for them, you decided to do same. .

And NO I'm not the poster just someone who believes advice to chroniclers should be carefully thought through before given because most of them send the chronicles in as a last resort.

  45. Dear BVs, do not do business with an IG online store by the handle _the_wardrobe. She is a swindler who dupe pple by pretending to be an online fashion retailer. I got interested in some items on the IG page last week and sent pictures of the items to the whatsapp no. provided on her bio enquiring about the price. After telling me d cost of each, I decided to buy 2 which came to a total of N9500. She said it's pay before delivery and the items will be delivered the next day. She gave me this Diamond Bank a/c no: 1114540935 with a/c name: Khadijah Salau Jamiu which I transferred the money to immediately. D following day, d order was not delivered, I got in touch wit her again and she said it's bcos all her delivery guys were occupied that day. I asked when can d items be delivered and she promised the following Monday. I replied her that if the items r not delivered on Monday, she should refund my money and she said no problem. On Monday, same story...order was not delivered. So, I sent msg to her on whatsapp again but got no response, d following day same story but I noticed that she has changed her DP which shows that she has been online. I called, she did not pick, sent sms...nothing...then I also realized on Wednesday that she has blocked me on whatsapp. That was when it dawned on me that she is a fraudster. All these while she's always online on IG and kept posting pictures. So I called her out on IG under one of the newly posted pictures and she immediately blocked me from her IG page too. She may change her IG handle after seeing this post..but keep these phone nos which are 08068559678 and 08081025296 as well as the Diamond bank acct name Khadijah Salau Jamiu in mind so as not to fall victim to this swindler.

  53. This is to the "anon" on IHN yesterday under Xpainment comment who says "Ewu Ghana use your ID", then goes further down to accuse me again and making me 100% sure she was referring to me. Now, let me say this, first of all I'm British West African cus I pledge allegiance to three countries, England, Ghana and Nigeria. It's not a secret here that I'm half Ghanaian and I speak fluent Yoruba, Hausa and Twi. So I knew you were referring to me cus I'm the only "Ewu Ghana" with an ID.
Secondly, on the life of me, I did not create that ID, I'm not one for senseless dramas. Like I said , any drama that does not grow my bank account or challenge my intellect is dead to me.
What will I gain by creating confusion? You then proceed to insult me in Twi saying you know who I am, and to use my ID.
My only crime in this stupid drama was saying Nuvi was very single, so that means I'm against you and all claws out??? Chic, damn!

Please leave me out of your fingers and this very senseless issue between people who do not even know each other.
To what gain??? I've noticed peeps on this blog use info you put out here against you hence the need for the "anon" to mention my sister on IHN the other day regarding this same issue. I could tell you so many things about me. I'm the second of three, I'm a HR professional, CIPD and all, born and raised in Nigeria for 13 years.

I run my own business which has been registered as a company now and we are Re branding into what will shatter sales record in Jesus name. My brother is a pilot in the states,my sister is a recovering accident victim, I have two gorgeous boys, in the process of converting our land into a bread and breakfast project for tourists and another, a palm plantation in Ghana.
Any investors in the house??? Please, please hit me up. We'll draft contracts and agreement with our lawyer and go from there. Ghana is now the place to invest.

Ask the people who know me out of this blog, my hands are FULL, you won't see me on every post cus I only come when I need the break.
Some of us are trying to leave legacies for our children so they never have to worry about money and it's up to them to do something for theirs. I don't hve the time, energy, to do unnecessary things.

This is the first and last time I'll address this. You can keep insulting me. You can keep thinking I go under anon to cuss you but I'll never do that! Why didn't I go under anon to defend Nuvi's relationship status so you wouldn't know it was me?? I met her on this blog but she hs become like a little sister to me and I would correct any misleading information about her.

What if some guy was checking her out and waiting for S&M?

Hello to my lovelies, sorry about the epistle. Have a good day, live and love people, live and love. xx

Keeping up and keeping tabs at the home front and at work ain't beans but it's all good. In due season, we harvest.

In this Lent, may God who is a Way Maker, make a way for us as we fast and pray. Though , I'm not fasting because I eat, eat and eat till further notice, I'm praying at will.

  56. Hello everyone???

Am I the only one that thinks a girl should get married from 28- upwards?? I feel that by then, most ladies will be mentally mature, more experienced and all.... People thinking crazy, Infact my mum says when she 'has my time, my village people will leave me Alone'....

I ask think relationship is too serious to be entered anyhow, I think that when you are about 22 upwards, your relationship should be serious, that's if you are in one and if you are not in one, then focus on building yourself....

I'm a fresh graduate, not even served yet, single to stupor(looool),not mentally ready to go into any relationship at the moment, my mindset is about building myself, making money, being really and totally independent... I feel going into a relationship now would make me a liability on someone's child but people around me think I'm not normal... They say since I haven't served, job isn't forthcoming, why not date?? But to me, dating is hardwork esp when your partner is productive and you are just there, ble, waiting!!!

Please, I'm normal right?? Single, married, independent women, how did you do it??? Is there a particular sequence that should be followed?? Me thinks it's school- job- marriage, is this sequence wrong?? Is marriage even compulsory?? How did you handle loneliness esp when you see people in their own relationships??

I have so many questions but I can't seem to turn them into words

Am. I the only one ehhhhhhhhhhh??? I need answers, thanks

    3. Marriage has nothing to do with age dear
You can marry at 28 or 21
All that matters is that you were mentally ready for the challenge. Because marriage isn't an easy peasy adventure. One has to be mentally ready. No one is really matured for marriage. Because even those that her married at 35 still leave their husbands home.

Whether a job comes or not, when it's the right time, get married. Marriage is sweet when with the right partner. Wait, I'll gist you something later when I have time today.
