I remember those days in d university, final year precisely. We don't like friday's lectures. One of our lecturers fixed a 2hrs class for Friday. Friday came, only 10 of us were in class that day. As the lecturer was teaching, he asked,"where are the rest'? Sir, "we don't know ooo, some of them are still coming". he said,"ehnehn, tear a sheet of paper everybody, class test". Fiam, my head don hot.. I kon ask my friend, Ebuka " you sabi anything? " Ebuka replied, "shey no b both of us dey inside class ni." Well d lecturer wanted to show d rest pepper for not coming for his class. He turned and started writing on d board," NO.1 ........ NO.2....... NO.3...... Meanwhile, information has reached those staying off campus, lolzzz.. Even some of my friends that travelled on Thursday, they were already in class ooo.. How those guys did it, I don't know. "Haremo, you no travel again?, I thought you said you are in lag." Haremo just smiled. After writing for like 5minutes, the lecturer turned his back, guess what happened!!! The whole class was filled up.." WHAT??? " class of 10 don turn 100. He shouted, "are all of you in this department"?? Baba no no wetin he go do again, APA TI DROP.. Greatest futarian..!!! MathsDepartment..

ReplyDeleteNo but to prevent cold always cover him up. My son prefers floor as well. He statrted at the age of one, what I did was putting him on the bed anytime he is lying on the floor. I wake late night's to put him on the bed, he is 3+ now and it has reduced a little. So try to put him on the bed when you spot him on the floor.

They say wounds heal with time, but the way I see it, the wounds inflicted by death never ever heals.
Yesterday was a sad day for me.. I ran into my neighbour that lost her 4yr old daughter in a horrifying manner. She has moved out of the compound to another area.. Far away from it all..
But yesterday, I ran into her on our street. She came to visit her friend that lives here.
Now, here is the sad part.. I passed by her and didn't recognise her.she was the one that called out to me..you know why I didn't recognise her? She had ballooned from a svelte size 10 to a size 18 or 20 I think.
The moment she called out to me, and I spun around to look at her, I was instantly in a state of shock. I managed to exchange greetings with her, I am sure she was expecting me to talk about her weight, but I said nothing. I already knew why..
I couldn't wait to get home cosI felt the water works coming. I am sure I didn't walk, I know I flew home. And immediately I got into my house, the water works started.
My neighbour would never remain the same. I think she is depressed hence the massive weight gain..cos she is not pregnant.
Is food now her only comfort? Or is that her body's own way of...i don't know?
How can one balloon from a size 10 to 18 in what? 4months? Is that feasible?
I don't even have words again.. ..

I still remember that story Northie. How the little girl and her mum were returning from a vigil and a car lose control and snatched her from her mum , flung her up and she hit the ground and her mangled body was left. I still replay the scene in my head sometime. I feel so bad when I remember as am also a mother. I pray the woman finds peace and happiness again. 4months is still fresh, she should try and get pregnant and give birth to another child, that will help reduce the pain.
