Senate Has Been Vindicated On Magu's Case, Says Sabi Abdullahi

Spokesman of the Senate, Dr. Aliyu Sabi Abdullahi has stated that the leaked report of the Directorate of State Security (DSS) sent to the Attorney General and Minister of Justice, Mr. Abubakar Malami, SAN, on the integrity of Mr. Ibrahim Magu has vindicated the decision of the legislative chamber to reject his nomination as chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).

In a statement he signed today in Abuja, Abdullahi stated that : "Following several calls made to me today by journalists seeking my comments on the leak report on Mr. Ibrahim Magu which was more damning than the one submitted to us, I can only say that myself and my colleagues have been vindicated.

"From that report which is now public, it is obvious the DG SSS even tried to give Magu soft landing in the report that was sent to the Senate. The recent report is messier and shows that our decision not to confirm his nomination was right.

"We therefore call on all Nigerians to continue to have full confidence and trust on the Nigerian Senate as it discharges its responsibilities according to the letter and spirit of the Nigerian constitution", he stated.

  1. Something fishy about this case, it's highly political, is either Magu is an agent (stooge) to anti Buhari or Buharis hands r not clean. There is just something out of place about this particular case. Politics is a DIRTY game of chess

    2. I forgot Stella has become CBN,see the tone of your request. Some of you are arrogant beggars. Because you are an orphan,Stella is now obligated to you. To top it all,you want to end it all,so that Stella and every other will begin to panic?? Silly!!! There are over 150 billion people on earth,I am sure you already know.
Your problem is your attitude, there are a lot of orphans in this world. Get over this mentality of looking for who to give you. Those people selling pure water on the road, that does not have up to 2000 in all,why have they not committed suicide? You need 30000k,why don't you work for it?
Sell this your browsing phone and starting selling satchet water, and save up for the money. Or is it that you are looking for an easy life?
Look for ways to see if you can trim flowers for those who need gardeners, there are a lot to be done honey, easy money always end up so easily in the hands of people like you.
Get up from that bed you are lying now,and go to church, hear the word of God and let it change you.
Put not your faith in man,or you will end up destroyed.
Trust in God and He will make all things perfect.
Change the mentality of looking for who to give you or you will become a bitter and an envious person when no one gives you.
If you are an orphan,do you not think that God allowed it for a purpose? Seek that same God honey, and let Him take care of you. I am so sure,He will treat you better than any human being will.
