Meeting Point - 61

Wawuuuuu!!!

Stella Dear, you are such a Darling, I real appreciate you.
I am from East Africa married to Nigerian...

First I want to encourage ladies in abusive relationship either physical or emotional who are scared to get out, please leave the relationship it's not worth, Um sure you will find better person, and there is no too late, when you find the right person that's the right time, don't listen to people when it comes to ur own happiness.

My story goes like dis....
I just got out of my emotional abusive relationship of 6years, I almost lost my confidence from it, The ex-guy got mouth, he can insult and abuse for Africa, I was losing my self, feeling like um nothing, can't get someone to love me like he did (according to him), Thanks to my Mama who was always encouraging me, There was also the voice inside me telling I should not give up, I will still find my prince, how? When?Where? I didn't even think it can be Nigeria......

I was looking at guys like I don't see anything special from them to convince me. My mind told me, I should try dating site, may be will get better person out of my country I then opened an account and create a profile in one dating site recommended by a friend, I was getting interests and msgs from different people from all over the world, I met from normal people to crazy people, when I say crazy I mean real crazy people, there was one oyinbo, The first day I skyped with him he opened his pant and showed his thing, Imagine crazy people in this world.

It was not working, I didn't get anyone that was worth, So I decided to close my account and go back to normal searching. The day I was about to close the account, I got interest from one Naija guy, I read his profile and saw his pic, fine dark and tall guy, he was new, like he just opened his account may be like 2 or 3 days, I liked his profile but I had to ignore him coz I didn't use to trust Naija guys, I met few when I was schooling but never allow them close to me, I used to look at Naija guys with the third eye like they are scammers or drug people, there are plenty bad stories about them back home, some are even lies, pep will watch Nollywood movies and create their own stories with enough salt, though there are enough Naija guys that hv been caught for drug trafficking and scamming that's why I was kind of scared of them.

The guy started to send the msg like every minute, just like he knew I was about to close my account, too bad my subscription had expired and I didn't renew coz I planned to close it, he was new, and hasn't paid for subscription too, The site rules was for two people to communicate at least one should be on paying account, if the two of you are on free account, you can't read the msgs between each other, he was sending his msg, but I couldn't read due to that reason, but I was able to see notification for the msg, I just told myself lemme see how he will end up with his plenty msgs, I was busy working leaving the account open, the guy in his side, he paid for his account sharp sharp and started to flood my inbox, the time to close the office, I checked my account I saw plenty of msgs from him, begging for my number, email, bbm pin, he was just explaining himself like crazy, he likes me, he knows um the one, I am so beautiful, he won't waste my time, he promise to marry me and blaah blaah, I just found myself laughing like this guy is crazy lemme answer him and see what's next, I told him with all dis explanation only bbm pin he will get and he should be careful may be um not human being, he said it's ok even so he will still marry me Lol, real crazy guy....

Bbm pin wasn't enough for him, he started to beg for my number, just his second msg, Fate wanted us to be together I gave him my number easily like that, he called immediately after, we spoke for 45minutes, it was my best time, speaking with someone I just met online but was enjoying and laughing all thru, I told him, um a big fan of Psquare and Tuface, see him started to sing from african queen to beautiful Onyinye, it was so lovely.

After that call, no day passed without early morning msg, afternoon phonecalls, and late skyping, I met his mom on Skype, he met mine too same way, 3months later he came to visit me for the first time.

He was living in Lagos, Our Embassy is in Abuja, I checked with our migration and found out he is eligible to get the visa after arriving at the airport provided he has invitation letter from the host citizen, I drafted invitation letter and sent to him hoping everything will go well, he left Nigeria to Mombasa, he arrived there in the night, I was waiting for him with my mum, and young brother. Migration started to vex with him coz they found his reason for visiting the country is crazy and as long as he is Nigerian they started to check him like he has another agenda more than visiting a girl, his mistake was to tell them the truth, that he came there to meet the girl he met on dating site, they started to threaten him, he will go back home with next flight.

Thank God, he did mobile roaming and was able to call me to explain his situation, My mum has to call someone to beg migration to give him the visa with the agreement for me to declare he is my responsibility, my mum was so worried but I had to make the call, so I went inside migration, and met him in the bench waiting, I said hello and went straight to finish migration wahalla, see those migration pep started to scare me, telling me all bad stories they know abt Naija boys, honestly I was real scared but what would I do, I signed their papers and they gave him the visa, I couldn't even hugged him, I just went to sit with him and started to apologise for what happened, he just smiled and said it's ok. such a cool soul

We took him to his hotel, he stayed for 5 days and left back to Nigeria

3months after visiting, he proposed on Skype, A month later he sent his people for proper proposal, 6months later he came to marry me, almost a year after we first met online. Here I am, proudly Naija Wife with 4 anniversaries, I call him Ole coz he stole my heart and everything, I left everything just for him, and I don't regret even a second..
Me and my yahoo boy for ur eyes only.

I apologise for any typing error or languages dat isn't appropriate

Tho, it is dat line of "First I want to encourage ladies in abusive relationship either physical or emotional who are scared to get out, please leave the relationship it's not worth, Um sure you will find better person, and there is no too late, when you find the right person that's the right time, don't listen to people when it comes to ur own happiness",that some ladies would put in deir head.

  8. If a man doesn't call you, it's because he doesn't want to call you. If he doesn't invite you to go out, it's because he doesn't want to see you. If he treats you like shit, it's because he doesn't care. If he lets you go, it's because he doesn't want to be with you. When a man says "I'm not ready, but you are the love of my life and the only one I want, but now is not the right time.", it's simply because he doesn't want you. Don't keep playing his confusing games. Don't justify him. When a man wants to be with a woman, he stays with her without lies, excuses and complications. Stop being genuine and naive, and stop justifying his every excuse and complication and put yourself FIRST. You DO NOT need someone that doesn't know what they want, you do not need someone that doesn't see your worth. You deserve a man that knows your worth and fights for you everyday. Stop breaking your own heart for someone who probably won't even be as good as you expect and give yourself an opportunity to be happy and be with someone who actually deserves you.

  22. love this story!! I met my love online too and I'm hoping for the best. I always say I'd rather be in a not so ideal situation with the right man for me than the best situation with the wrong man. It's a little challenging with the distance but I won't have it any other way. He's so kind, caring, loving and committed to more. I can't ask for anything more than for all our plans to work so we can live together soon.
