Over 50 armed robbers and kidnappers have been arrested in Imo State in 2017 alone..
No fewer than 50 suspects nabbed for alleged armed robbery, murder and kidnapping were yesterday paraded by the Imo state Police Command.
Speaking to Daily Sun and other newsmen at the state Command, Commissioner of Police, CP Taiwo Lakanu, said 11 people were arrested for armed robbery, murder, cultism and vehicles snatching. Ten others, he said, were nabbed for kidnapping and child stealing/trafficking.
Others were arrested for burglary/stealing and vandalism of PHCN property, he said. Lakanu also revealed that the command rescued five stolen babies, recovered 10 vehicles as well as one locally made single barrel gun, and another local pistol. He said the suspects were arrested between January 2017 till date.
I hope the arrest are for real and not for media!...

ReplyDeleteThe government should watch them closely cos I heard the commissioner of police imo state is good at negotiating with criminals for money, the man doesn't joke with money and it's an open secret ranging from the way he task the workers under him in order to foot his lavish lifestyle and everyone is afraid to speak up for fear of losing their jobs.
