DOMESTIC VIOLENCE VICTIM CRIES OUT
Hello madam Stella I want u 2 help me post this on your blog I have suffered domestic violence enough from my husband and I want to speak up now to save my life.
My husband keeps hitting me because of his girlfriend a beer palour girl even the girls father is in support of their relationship each time my husband vow not to go there again the man will call my husband on phone and beg him to cone back to their beer palour. Since my husband started dating this girl last year there has been no peace in my home. He will stay with them till they close by 11pm everyday.
I have cried,begged reported him to his family to no avail. My husband turn that beer palour to his second house that is where he use to eat. He will buy bush meat and go there to kill it. The day I heard about the bush meat incident I told him was going there to report to the girls father. He beats me till I bled that day. I still have the cloth I put on that day as evidence. He said if my parents are truly d one that gave birth to me that I should come and meet him there. My husband bought phone for this girl and is giving her one thousand naira everyday for food.
The second one time he beats me was the day he was calling her right inside the house and asking her if she enjoyed him yesterday he thought I was not inside the house when he was making the call. He hits me with every object that pulled my hair right now I don't have much hair at the back of my hair. If I want to talk people will advice me not to me talk that they are egun people and they can harm me. When my husband started dating this girl my daughter convulsed twice almost to the point of death.
The second one was so terrible I thought I was going 2 lose her everyone in my street were crying for more than one hour my daughter did not wake up. It was later after the incident my neighbour told me that in the morning she saw the girl passed the back of my house around 6am. She said even when my daughter was convulsing that the girl was in my street. Later people started giving me prophecy that I should take my child away frm that area if I don't want to lose her. Since last year DEC my child have been living with my mum.
Just last nite we had a misunderstanding again before I knew it he started hitting me again he beats me for more than one hour I thought I was going to die am in serious pains now. I don't want to die pls I need justice I don't have money I am not working maybe that is why hubby is treating me this way.
each time I tell him to set me up with business he will tell me to wait till I have another child. He said he don't want me to work under anybody I am just a full time house wife. Pls help me post it I need help I need a job to sustain myself and my child parents are not well to do out of the money for food he gives me I still send to my mum to sustain her.
I want to live here before I die. I don't want money I just need a job that will help me take care of myself and parents. Pls well meaning Nigerians should help me if possible I need justice. I will send all the pix I took to you,please help me post it. May God bless you.

Most of you even run back to be killed after you receive help and that is why most organisations and people who help fight Domestic Violence are not so forth coming with help anymore.
I have a question for women who get into this kind of altercation with their spouses...When he is hitting you,do you try to hit back?or try to run?why wait until you are bruised all over like this and then you start making photos?why not just run?...R.U.N!!!

DV is very very real na @Beloved! Funny thing is the women that suffer it more are mainly the jobless housewives who have absolutely nothing doing or going on for themselves thereby collecting every dime/pennies from their so called horsebands. Hence, the seeing finish syndrome will come in. Just negodu how this woman left her look in this age and time that married women do all sorts to look hotter than the singles sef. It shows she must have been dealing with depression and all sorts. Madam, I feel for you but no matter what advice you read here, my mind tells me you will still go back. Well, the only advice I have for you is pls try and work on your weight first. Go to a dentist to tie your teeth and make it faster by feeding on only liquids for at least a month biko. That way you will gain your sanity/self esteem back before thinking of any other thing biko. Ndo!

ReplyDeleteMy 19 year old cousin left her husband because he was always beating her, he have warned the man severally bt he will stop and later start beating her again, one faithfully day she left the house and sold her phone so that she can be able to have money, then went to another town and started washing plate for the owner of the restaurant and was also sleeping at the same restaurant so that she can be able to eat food and mind you has had a few months old child, no one knew her whereabout,fear no allow the husband call to tell us that she was missing, until one day she called my dad with some1s phone and my dad had to send some money to her, she said she did that to show that she can survive without her husband even her family members, this is a girl that didn't go to the uni oo, bt she was able to leave that beast called husband and survive alone without her family's help unfortunately her baby died and she used her own money to return her bride price sef. Now she is about to be married to a better and a rich person. Madam if my Lil cousin can, you can do that too. You even have a mum to go and drop your child. But my cousin no get papa and mama again only 2 siblings and she left without telling any1.

She took him back but guess what? It did not reach 3 months he started beating her again but this time she was in her own house with her brothers and sisters....oh my God it was terrible, they beat him up so bd, he left and neva came back. He later married another wife, then another one then another one....same story, the women kept leaving him. He later died. May his soul wonder about...rubbish

ReplyDeletePeople will emphasize the importance of mothers being very much around their young kids, some husbands will even beg their wives to be full housewives for the benefit of their children but they find it very hard to appreciate these women. Why can't people appreciate the women who do this for their family? Mothers know being care givers to young children can be the most stressful task to take on, yet people are always very quick to look down on these women. Some even call these women jobless. Really? Many if you working mothers know the real job begins when you get back home. Smh.
Women need to learn from others. If your man can't pay you salary for being stay at home, don't do it. And the money better be good enough to set you up should things go south. Yes! Nobody prays for broken home but realistically, it's a possible outcome that needs proactiveness. Never go into anything without having an exit plan in case the space there becomes too small for you. Most importantly, women must be financially independent from their men. We can't say this enough!
