Chocolate City boss, Audu Maikoiri, has been reportedly rearrested and taken to Kaduna.
The report which has yet to be confirmed said Maikori was taken into custody today, Friday by the police.
Maikori was first arrested in Lagos on February 17 and later released by the police over his tweets in January in which he alleged that five students of College of Education, Gidan-Waya, were killed by Fulani herdsmen.
Though the music producer later retracted his claims, saying he was misled by his driver, it was learnt that Governor Nasir el-Rufai was not pacified by his apology as he complained about the tweets to the police authorities, leading to his arrest.
Close friends are saying Maikori has been taken to Kaduna State.

ReplyDeleteWhat happened to Freedom of speech?
DeleteFor what again na?una sure say dis one no be political brouhaha?
ReplyDeleteNo hard feelings, but this serves Audu Maikori right, he wanted to gain more fame by that tweet, but it has led to his downfall, if he wasn't sure sure about his tweet, why did he post it in the first place ??? Now look at what has befell him, El-rufai is a very calm wicked governor who doesn't forgive .. lemme stop here...
ReplyDeletehmmm, they should just pity him na .
DeleteJust shut up
DeleteThis is democracy
Titanium people were killed, raped, houses and farm lands burned. Just because it didn't happen to audu's driver does not mean these things didn't exactly take place. So people of southern Kaduna should keep quiet while dey get killed daily by people the governor admitted he paid ?
DeleteChoi.... MAKA Why? Someone can't post again.
ReplyDeletePost something that can mislead the public??? That can result to national crisis...mahn it aint coool...we all should be sure of wat we post...
DeleteThere is nothing misleading about his post, people were slaughterd and burned. It actually happened, was he suppose to keep quiet about his people getting killed? The fact that his drivers brother was not killed does not mean families were not wiped out that day.
DeleteI promise to drop comments here everyday. I can't continue being a silent bv for 4yrs.
ReplyDeletethat's possible if you are as jobless as the others here
DeleteTheir comments doesn't make them better than u are
DeleteHmmmm,they should stop pursuing shadows
ReplyDeleteThat's the fact
DeleteHmmmmmm may god help him
ReplyDeleteThe hidden agenda of El Rufai is showing . Vindictive somebody, his existence is against Christianity . He and his cohorts are behind the blackmail of Suleiman. They shall be exposed, disgraced and destroyed. God the father of our Lord Jesus Christ does not slumber. He will do what he will do at his own time.
ReplyDeleteHow sure are you?
DeleteFor wetin kwanu? There was massacre in kaduna state by Fulani herdsmen, many people were killed, does it matter If they are polytechnic students or traders. You can arrest him only if there was no killing. Let this better be one of those fake news from Sahara reporters o. Else one day monkey go go market e no go come back.

It shows one is no longer free in this country airing his or her view again
DeleteElrufai release this man o. When yr oga go resign I go see how yr head go dey swell again.
DeleteThis man shouldn't die o, Hell rufire.
ReplyDeleteI don't understand why he was arrested again, the police hasn't arrested any herdsmen to the best of my knowledge, Audu has family to protect they should free him. I feel there's more to this story
ReplyDeleteSilence sometimes is Golden... I think that's what caused him
DeleteInstead of this El Rufai to arrest Fulani herdsmen who are causing trouble all over Kaduna, he is arresting someone whose 'offense' was just misinformation. I think he has a mission in rearresting him. Audu should be calm. This too will pass. I hate vindictive people.
ReplyDeleteThey should leave him na and I thought he had been cleared.
ReplyDeleteStella I love you
ReplyDeleteFree Audu Maikori
ReplyDeleteFree Audu Maikori
ReplyDeleteThis country is no country, why was he rearrested if there's nothing more to it? Why abuse power? Will elrufai be governor for life? He has refused to tackle what the problem is exactly, how many herdsmen have been arrested since the killings? Non I'm sure. I give up on Nigeria. This man is just power drunk, why won't he be self, when ordinary Gifty wants to start misbehaving with little fame.
