God please save your children, after sack they will not even pay them off, where do they go from here. Oluwa please give them all the strength to carry on. I hope my gf is not affected, let me hala her sharp sharp.
This Skye Bank can lie for Africa. I read yesterday that the bank promoted 300 staff. So it means that while it was promoting, it was also sacking. In this recession? Don't know what to say again sef
It goes both ways but you won't expect the bank to publicise sack now. Every time you read of a bank promoting staff. Just know that there are also some casualties
This isn't the changed we hoped for....enough of this NEGSTIVE CHANGE gor pete's sake!! Everything's going from bad to worse! Buhari God will punish u!
It is possible.FCMB lay off many staff last week, the economy is not encouraging free flow of funds and some banks claims not to have money to pay their workers.God biko, how long will we remain like? 2019 is too far na.
it's rily sad i must say. i am a banker and i know what it means. instead of banks to sack on the basis of non profit making, they can reduce their operational expense by making the top less heavy. my previous bank had sooooooooo many ED's , up to 8, haba #shocked and soooooo many GM's up to 7 before i left. its too much abeg. the jobs they do can be done by an AGM, and we end up saving cost. these people that are sacked are majorly junior and mid level staff. BANKS BOARD MEMBERS, PLS REDUCE THE HEAVINESS IN THE BANKING SECTOR . #feelingverysadforthesacked
i dont know why ppl are like this, understand this if those at the top are not sacked how can those below be promoted? and besides they wer well compensated. i know cos i work there. peace!
or what banks can do is peg their salary at a fixed amount till things improves, it is beta for someone earning like 1M to earn 800k and preserve other people's job. its just pure wickedness and we blame the govt whereas the top shots in the banking industry are wicked and mean also selfish.they want to keep earning the millions and let others that earn 150-200k loose their jobs
