Singer Banky W's Home Gutted By Fire

A property located along Admiralty Way, Lekki Phase 1, Lagos where popular singer, Banky W, lives has been destroyed by fire.

A neighbour to the artiste told Punch on the telephone that the fire was caused by a faulty air conditioner.

The fire was believed to have started around 6am.

A resident said, “The fire started around 6am and all of us came out to assist Banky in putting out the fire. So many items were destroyed including Banky’s awards.”

However, Fire service officials arrived around 7.30, an hour later.

  29. Thank God for his life.

I like the fact that Banky is taking it with a touch of humor, Life is the most important thing, not material possessions.

It can really be scary when you experience firsthand a fire incidence.

It almost happened to us, when our neighbor's house caught fire, when they left a candle on, on a light switch and went to prayer city on a Saturday morning.

Passersby saw smoke and took over.

My prayer warrior mum forgot her faith oh and was panicking when fire never even reach our house ..Lolzzz. Saying; "is this how we would leave Lagos empty handed? all our properties..." Even me, that was forming strong woman, was soon infected by her fear.

In fact thank God everything ended well shaaa.

    Cheers..
