ReplyDeleteSo I participated in snm and a lot of guys added me. I requested for a working class guy, a Christian, and a non yoruba( no offense to Yoruba people but my parents will rather die than let their only child marry a Yoruba guy..long story). All sorts of people added me, corp members, final year students, Yoruba Muslim, mummy's boys, even a taxi driver ( again no offense, but a girl's gotta have standards right? I have my own money just didn't want any leech around me).
Well, I deleted all of them. I was still getting requests even a week after the day. I decided to be nice and see if I could at least make a few friends (at all at all na winch). So one of the new guys refused to send me his pic after seeing mine. One of his reason was,the camera of his phone is bad so can't take pics(dude wtf? I specifically requested for a guy that's ready to settle down. How can you a broke kpalasa phone user afford a wedding if you can't afford a good phone?). At a point I felt it was someone I know that's playing a silly prank on me in fact I suspected my cousin so I played along. Months later he still wasn't ready to show me his face I got bored and deleted him but he sent another request the same day. I will accept him and delete him again if he still doesn't send his pic I deleted him over 10 times. And kept re adding me, one time I deleted him and he didn't add me again till after 2 weeks (can you believe I started missing him?). I told him I won't speak to him if he doesn't reveal his self he still didn't bulge so I totally ignored him this time around, I stopped replying his messages and even when I did I will be so rude and hoped it will push him away , it didnt, instead it attracted him the more.
Anyways, he finally sent me his pic exactly a year after he added me the first time, I had already forgotten about him sef when he did. Boy was he cute? Idris Alba had nothing on him but me I still formed vexed sha...we gradually started talking again and then 2 months later we went on our first date, he smelt so nice and had this very cute lips I just wanted to bite. I asked him again why it took him so long to send his pics, he said it's cause of his phone and truly he was using one dead blackberry (still does) but he was far from broke. Dude was a pilot! He turned out to be the exact opposite of what I thought he was (what his bbm character depicted) He proposed on our 4th date and I said yes! We have been married for a year now and I've never been happier.

9. I go for facials and body steaming once a month
10. I use sunscreen when going out
11. I pray everyday for my skin to stay flawless
12. I detoxify once a month. Although haven't done this since I'm breast feeding
13. I'm learning to drink up to 4 litres of water a day as it helps your skin moisture and adds glowing effect
14. I try to eat good food, as our skin is also what eat
In all, whether you are dark or light skin, get a regimen that works for you.

So i remembered a scary story i read here many years ago.. cant recall the post again,we didn't have anonymous posts then.

It was really bad that period according to the anonymous.. One night,the fanatics stormed their house.
They had a new born baby,their father gathered all the members of the family including the baby and ran inside a nearby bush.
After some minutes,they heard foot stepes of these rough,blood thirsty terrorists sccreaming for them to come out of wherever they were hiding,they were going to haunt them down!!
At that point... the baby started whimpering,slowly the cry increased.
This is where it gets really creepy,their father smothered the little infant oooh🙆🏽♂️🙆🏽♂️🙆🏽♂️
Just so the rest could survive that bloody attack.
