    So sorry Stella.

    My Grandma is at the highest stage of dementia now, she has forgotten how to swallow, so now we basically feed her through a pipe passed through her nose.

    She no longer walks, no longer get cheerful, it's like we are watching life slowly go out of her.

    We know death is near but I cringe when I think of how i would take the news of her death.

    May God grant us to bear the fortitude to bear the loss of our loved ones.

    Just saw the post where you said your MIL is about to give up. She has fought the good fight, she has run the race and she has emerged a Victor!!! Attaining the age of 80 isn't a small feat and it's only the grace of God that can keep a MAN that long!!!

    I too was told yesterday that my sick husbands condition is worsening. I don't know what to do anymore as I have prayed and fasted no answer. If his sickness is not ordinary like the elders are saying, let God judge whoever is behind it. I have been living like a widow since last year when I exhausted all my savings on his sickness. Now living from hand to mouth. God is still in the business of doing miracles, he will do it for us.
